I don't mind Bury, they've never had any serious money thrown at them and  I find it flattering rather than upsetting when other clubs fans sing about us

.I think it's normal for a club in Bury's state to have groups of supporters with differing views on how the club should progress. It might take 3-5 years but I'm sure Bury will have a football club again.I hope for their sake they keep Gigg Lane rather than move out to a soulless bowl in Summerseat or similar

Their lack of class towards us when we were helping them allied to how everyone else's sympathies towards us has vanished says I hope they never return.

PS I'm actually glad that we're not getting anything from anyone.

:D can't believe it took 2 months  for this.......

They didn’t register when they were actually a football club

we are now effectively talking about a corpse here that’s been in the ground a few months. And there it can stay for me. Bury are dead.

Phoenix club? Who gives a fuck

It could quite easily have been us. Forget the tribalism and nonsense - Bury fans who loved their club have had it taken away by blokes who don't care about them or their town.

It is disgraceful and they are the fall guys and representatives - it could have been any of a huge number of clubs to be where they are right now.

I really hope their fans get it together and pull some sort of viable phoenix club and stick it to the EFL and authorities by getting back into the league. Then I hope their first game back is against us and we wallop them 9-0.

Never been known for quick wit and repartee. But you're right, 2 months for a comeback is pretty shit.

By the time they get back into the EFL I hope to God we're not still in the 4th division!

But Bury's whole situation is beginning to resemble Northwich Victoria.

set up a phoenix club , then ten minutes later the dude knackering up your old club leaves anyway ?

dont think neither play at 'home' , per se.

crazy if it goes on and on for that long that summat similar occurs.

Fuck em!!

This is only if dale sells or club gets liquidated?

Could happen, need a ground with floodlights and all the other requirements.

Application has gone in at City’s academy

No. The application has gone in as a new club.  If by some miracle the club or ground is sold on, then there 'could' be another application to the NWCL by another Bury side.

I'm always interested on what basis a club is accepted into a semi professional league.  At the moment they have no fans and no players and maybe no staff, and so no means of paying players.  No doubt you have to pay a fee to join a league but what's to stop me filling in a form, paying (say) a £2,000 fee and calling the team Chorley Wanderers, saying I intend to ground share at Victory Park.

I  assume that's where 'due diligence' comes in.  They've always had no fans!

The way I read it their could be 3 Burys next season (1 is just about enough)

fan club

Steve dale club

A mystery person new setup.

The fan club one has applied for 10th tier. Could be a few off here going if that’s the case as that’s very jumpers for goalposts.

And probably closer than Atherton for a few.

Dingles are poaching Bury supporters by allowing 350 of them to a game free of charge over Christmas. They will try anything to boost their pathetic home crowds.
