Moderators Casino Posted April 1, 2020 Moderators Share Posted April 1, 2020 Its a tricky one At the moment, we couldn't return and the 80% is very welcome However, no 80% and I think it's likely our suppliers and customers go back more quickly Especially if it's made clear manufacturing is expected to carry on

I hope the government haven’t underestimated this virus in terms of helping out the country financially but it would be understandable if they did. I sincerely hope there is a plan B if workers can’t go back after 12 weeks. People might have to suck it up and take any government issued job so we don’t go under. Not sure how that helps really. People go back to work mix some get it spread it and back and forth we go. Testing is important to track the spread and understand who has it. Doesn’t help get us moving until enough have actually had it or had a vaccine.

"I'm off out, going round to see a couple mates to see off some of these tinnies" We really do have a problem, the roads were busier than they should have been and lads were just cruising around. Until these fuckers learn to stop being fully fledged cnuts, this semi-Lockdown will turn into a full lockdown and it will go on a lot longer. I've noticed busier roads today on my jog/walk as well, could be a coincidence but taking into account the information from government about car use today too... People bored of it already after less than 2 fucking weeks, mad.
Marc505
Mate of mine who does door work said he's been offered a job at a cemetery in manc turning people away from funerals if more than 10 people show up, how fucking depressing is that. It was made clear at one of those briefings that manufacturing capacity isn't huge in this country for these machines. Going to take time to get them producing them at a higher rate. That's why they're also looking abroad. Lots of innovation suddenly springing up here, and collaboration. Even the fashion sector looking to get involved. Time to start celebrating what we are capable of for a change. Hopefully, down the line we will once again have a bigger manufacturing base. Site Supporter only1swanny Posted April 1, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted April 1, 2020 Anti body test is king, If enough people have immunity then cogs can start being turned again. I reckon years 10 and 5 will be the first back in school (exams next year), as soon as there are enough staff to man schools that have the antibody. Current estimates is that 250k have the disease, I reckon its actually much higher, as a lot wont show any symptoms. If that's the case,we will get back to normality quicker. Government has already said they'll buy what's available, I'd rather the first 30 be received immediately, than delivered later with the next 200 so that is looks better. Other countries wanting them too remember.
