Spider Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 By a very thin whisker, it looks like last Tuesday was the peak. Tuesday always the biggest number of the week, so going in the right direction now... https://twitter.com/UKCovid19Stats/status/1333804308899401729?s=20 Quote

Not sure where you get your info from. Public Health Wales - You have to consider the data before, during and after the lockdown (as in the graph). Most areas did not start to decrease until the second week because there was a lag. Quote

It was never going to work and it hasn’t worked anywhere. That’s why they are having to implement more restrictions and the infections are still going up. England’s are coming down in all areas. It’s not a competition but England’s have been more effective. Interesting that they didn’t want people from England to cross the border during their firebreak. Now the hotels and businesses are desperate for custom from England. Your only pushing this because Starmer suggested it. He was wrong. It was political. Finally, a pub can open but not sell beer. Brilliant. Quote

Brilliant. It clearly did work, numbers were coming down every day between 1-10 November. That is ten days when I was at school🥴 Quote
Boby Brno Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I said a couple of weeks ago that the NW would be lower than London at the end of Lockdown. I was wrong, sorry. (4 days behind though so I might be right😉) Quote

Precisely! as was his free school dinner escapade, the one where he said lock down schools, then reopen for free meals at half term, because Rashford said so. Winchester White Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Two weeks isn't long enough, 3 weeks might have been better for them I think. Quote
