The quick turnaround might be due being able to persuade the patient to self isolate and then thoroughly clean the room they were in. Usually a swab needs time to grow in the lab - 7-10 days seems a long time mind.

Its probably the most effective way to reduce transmission once cases start to increase and to flatten out the curve. You need to reduce movement as much as is possible.
