Anyone else think Johnson's idea of getting retired nurses and medical workers back into the front line of the NHS is an attempt to reduce the amount of pension payments?

Absolutely not. Not sure if it would have been his idea anyhow. Probably come from the public health bods in coming up with ideas on how best to tackle the situation.

Also been suggested military may become involved. Makes sense if hospitals are struggling.

Unless TUI cancel it I’m off on my Far Eastern cruise a week today (thinly veiled)

Work have already notified me that I have to self-isolate from the date I return - 30th March. Ultra cautious these Japs but sensible I suppose

Congrats to anyone that gets me in the sweepstake.....

My all expenses paid trip to South Korea has been cancelled.

Id have risked a bout of Ebola for it to be honest.
