I’d suspend the premier league.

Just think of the boost to morale across the Kingdom.

I see klopp addressed this very subject.

Dismissed it (rightly so) but seemed to speak about it longer than necessary.

Time for pep and other teams to play mind games: no pre match handshake, speak about postponing the season at every opportunity. Might get to them, who knows.

We wouldn't get through it

I'm available to back fill if required

Reading up on this today, I also read that the Spanish flu claimed more fatalities the First World War did. What a fucking insane fact that is.

50 million, mainly fit and healthy adults as well for some reason, left the old duffers to it

Different gravy that fucker

They say that if you had a virus that deadly now, with the amount of global travel, you’d be looking at a much bigger number!

I am having an argument with some freemason crackpot on a poor mates Facebook post about this. He actually thinks the fucking Simpsons writers somehow foresaw this outbreak. I have asked the daft cunt if he thinks the earth is flat too.

Tell him it's caused by 5g. His head will melt and he'll leave you alone while he goes down a rabbit hole of absolute shite.

Just looked at his feed, full of 5G and vaccines ffs.

Oh and he doesn't want to get into it but all the astronauts were Brother masons. These people are supposedly intelligent but batshit crazy, dangerous even.

Newsnight talking about the government planning for 4% of cases requiring hospitalisation

likely most of us will get it so that’s millions requiring some form of hospital treatment

You cant cope with that in a short window

I miss my days browsing conspiracy theories on the internet. Simpler times.

Daft cunts down here are panic buying. Shops cleared of bottled water, bog roll, noodles, canned fruit etc.

Fucking zoons. Still, they haven't thought of the insulating properties of tinfoil but we all know, don't we ;)

May just have been chance but everyone interviewed coming out of supermarket with loaded up baskets were oriental people. One mad fucker had spent $700 on mainly bottled water, sterilised milk and bog roll etc.

Can't work out if social media or just the sensationalist media outlets are contributing to this. Probably both.

I was working in Kent when the panic buying of petrol started in the North West, our digs were close to a garage, it was always quiet, when the London Standard paper was issued and the headlines showed massive queues in the North, within hours the same quiet garage in sleepy Kent was over run with folk filling up. Crackers.

Just wait until it hits a school the hysteria will be incredible

People booking shopping delivery slots here like crazy and putting large orders in. What I don't get - are people planning to lock themselves in their houses - and for how long? 18 months till there is a vaccine?

The news channels are desperate for a Big Day of infections being announced.

It's sensible to be aware of an outbreak but the advice issued by PHE seems sound enough.

The media thrive on panic, hysteria and bullshit as it keeps people glued to their screens.

Just wash yer fucking hands and carry on as normal.

Exactly. Doing interviews with people who had the virus and picking extreme cases - it just raises the levels of panic. What about picking someone who had a cough and a bit of a fever for a few days then was fine?

No doubt.

Next couple of weeks here and elsewhere in the west will have a big bearing on matters.

Get on top early doors and we'll not be too bad.

Panic buying at the moment should boost the economy in the short term though! :)

Sounds like Brexit all over again 😊

Can see the Euros being cancelled
