Well I'm not one of them. There will be an enquiry after this is all over, as there should be after an event of this kind, and if serious errors were found to have been made (i.e. not just ones where with the benefit of hindsight things could've been done differently) then I expect they'll be dealt with then. Until that time comes, I'm content for the Government to keep doing what they're doing and see where we end up once it's all blown over, specifically because we can't be yet certain about what the data we have means. I'd just rather they'd have been clearer / up front about what their target of 100,000 tests per day meant. Quote

On no planet does doing 80k tests and putting 40k more in the post = carrying out 120k tests. If this had always been the methodology and everyone was clear on it - why would it take an article from an unnamed source in the HSJ (which a few on here immediately dismissed) for it to come to light? Spot on Let's post out 500k tomorrow We won't be able to process them but who cares It's half a million Quote

It's WELL over 50%. They're basically a waste of time and money in their current form. ITK Edited May 1, 2020 by Cheese Quote

As far as Green Lane in one Direction and Burnden in the other. 2 hour waiting time on one sign. Only plastic bags with household waste on another and car registration restrictions. ie. even numbers one day (MA52 TIP) odd numbers the next (MA51 TIP) Sure this will be confirmed officially somewhere. No access from St Peters way in both directions. Slip road closed. Quote

Down to what is a reasonable level of risk I suppose. Outside, it's certainly less risky. Might be different in an office environment. Quote
