People really need to stop comparing us with Sweden.

Sweden has 10 million people spread over 174,000 square miles

The UK has 66 million people spread over 90,000 square miles.

Also - and I cannot emphasise this enough - Too many Brits have acted like cocks about Covid. The Swedes have less people to do that and culturally are known to be better behaved.

Not even nearly the same

Land area matters very little unless the 10million inhabitants are each given a square area exactly the same size as every other inhabitant. Those 10mill are concentrated in large towns and cities in exactly the way they are in every other inhabited country.

I understand their will be health issues to stop people wearing one but wouldn’t that make you want to wear one more?

My mum, 83, has barely been out of her house since mid-March. I go round a couple of times each week with her shopping. Completely against the rules I go in for an hour; brew, chat, listen to whatever quiz is on telly with the volume at an uncomfortable level. Completely against the rules but, hey, fine me!

Are a lot of those who were working from home gone back to the office now?

Not the businesses I sell to, they're closing offices, making wfh permanent for some, part time wfh for others. My mrs is an operations manager for a large business travel consultancy. Business travel, internal and international is on it's arse. Every fucker is on zoom

The % of GDP spent on education in the Nordic states is around 50% more than the UK. May have something to do with it

It didn't make sense.

My lad was called in last week to meet the team. Leavers, joiners, promotions in, promotions in, etc. BAE are saving millions of pounds by not having to provide workspaces for all employees. He assumes they’ll sub-divide the current space into either individual or departmental pods and have each employee in for a couple of days each week on a rota.

We're a country full of lager lout twats and fag smoking slags who've been brainwashed by Tabloid Newspapers for decades. We're never going to be as civilised as the Scandinavians. Until McDonalds start giving out free McMasks with every order, we're fucked.

Definitely. Poor areas are faring worse. Less space, less education, more turkey twizzlers. I'm about 2st overweight, went to Malmo and Zurich a few years ago, walking around I was the fastest person in town.

My mrs is reluctant to because she's got mild claustrophobia, cant even put her head under a duvet.

So she's avoided situations requiring one, but has worn them briefly when required.

Some folk can't wear them because of breathing difficulties.

Some are twats, "its against my human rights", "youre complicit with the economic downfal, plandemic, hoax, sheeple" conspiracy selfish twat ignorant lunatic brigade.

some are thick

2 or 3 weeks back, i was in that London & having fucked up getting tickets for the National Gallery,I was lucky enough to be around Trafalgar Sq for them gathering for an anti mask rally & listened to the ranting  speeches & learnt that ... 1/  the whole covid pandemic is a hoax constructed to keep us under the thumb of governments.....2/ masks are dangerous because you breathe out carbon dioxide but the mask forces you to re-inhale it ...... & 3/  any vaccine must be resisted because it will be used to inject children with mercury.

There were a couple of thousand of these people !!!

Is that because if they’re told people rebel, or they wear one and think they are completely protected therefore forget the other basic rules

That's correlation. Amount of crisps purchased inside pubs has also gone up. Maybe its prawn cocktail walkers causing it.

What's the word with the lock down sceptics regarding the upsurge in hospitalisations and infections. Who/what they blaming, or are they denying it / downplaying it?
