In Prague, no one is allowed on public transport without a face mask. This is what happens for anyone without. Another factor is touching the hand rails etc. where the virus can also be transmitted.

It’s a strange statement for him to make in all Reality and i don’t think it will do him many favors.

@Ani note I’ve spelt that favors rather than favours 😁 patronize away

Just remember we are not American.

This is the exact reason why London has a problem.

not the kitchen sink btw just peoples stupidity to travel like this.

I feel for (some of) the people, I bet most of them are going to work whilst they still can and all that

but this is why the government need to take that decision from them -

I mentioned yesterday that it was like that on the bus here last night and that I won’t be doing it again. For people who use it, it’s surely the highest risk area that has to be addressed.

Buses here are near empty. Passed 5 yesterday in central Edinburgh. Max 2 people on each

Sorry to keep mentioning Prague but many people are sharing tips on making your own. They also have a shortage. They aren’t surgical but they believe that it can stop the spread if you have the virus.

Hand sanitiser is also available at entrances to metro stations. (Probably get nicked here)

I see lots of school buses in the morning that will not be used for a while. Maybe they can be now used for health workers only. Cleaned and sanitised after each use.  It’s a start for essential workers.

beginning to think that if loads dont die , folk wont believe the next one.

letting folk self police themselves, is probably best.

if they send the army out to stop people sitting in some pub or taking their dog out , then the next vote after the next one is gonna be "we need to force people to vote to stop low turn out".

the virus killing the odd old dudes is its way of surviving. if they enforce quarantine itll kill everyone* then die out.

* except ,maybe, those that caught it at christmastime

I know normally it’s a case of “if you need to ask then the answer is no”, but fancying going for a walk this weekend while the weather looks reasonable and figured it would be good for mental health to get some fresh air and exercise. I’m expecting Rivi to be packed so will give that a swerve but presumably it isn’t frowned upon to drive to the coast and have a walk along the prom at Llandudno or Morecambe or wherever given it’s a wide space and whatnot?

I think that is fine, woman on R5 earlier said it was

Even in France, you can go for a walk, but you have to stay very close to home, and print out and sign a form each time you do, but you can go out

I'll still be taking the dog out and going for runs
