Under 13s

Ok… I accept they are a little older, but common sense should prevail; especially if it’s a grass pitch. Some coaches are so over zealous- I want my kids to play, l want them to win… but I overall I want them to be happy and I have a duty to keep them safe.

Freezing their knackers off in 80 mile winds benefits no one.

Sorry both your mornings were wasted- hope you still got him a Maccies on the way home 😄

Both our games on tomorrow  even though both venues called all games off today

It doesn’t seem to be easing up… my lads due to be refereeing in 4 hours- girls U12, Ladybridge High; first ‘away’ game if you will. It’s gonna be his decision whether to call it… I know what I would do, but he risks upsetting a lot of people either way.

Not kids footy but check this fat horrible cunt trying to snap what is barely a kid.

The lad refereed his first game without me on Sunday. Girls U12s. Feedback I’ve had is he made a couple of dodgy decisions (15 years old, 4 games in). I won’t mention the club, but a parent is so tough he entered the pitch and squared up to him… now he refused to restart the game until the parent left the area, but he’s come back at full time, gone to shake, badge squeezing his hand trying to hurt him.

I initially laughed this off, but as more time passes the angrier I’m getting. Tried contacting the club and welfare officer, but I’m raising it with Lancs FA. Referees are harder to get, bellends like this are the reason why.

Carry on.

Moronic behaviour.

Why does football do this to some people?

I hope the appropriate action is taken

Reading the comments on FB it seems like the young un is a cunt and he’s at it every week winding players up.

Nephew reffed this morning, u12 game .

hes just 15 and in his first season .

One manager was at him all game , at the end he stormed on to the pitch , shook his hand but kept hold of it and wouldn’t let go and said, “ what’s your name , your fucking shit and don’t want you reffing any of my games again you shit twat”

this came from my sister who was there and had to deal with it .

I wasn’t there ( good job) but people telling me he didn’t do do bad, but, that’s not the point , I don’t care how he did , it’s irrelevant , an adult shouldn’t be intimidating a child like that even if he did make mistakes.
it’s in hand now but this lad be complaining when he can’t get one next week .

and for context, they won easy and were never in danger in the game. the lads obviously tapped and shouldn’t be near kids football and there’s too many of that type in my opinion .

When I had to run the line always made sure to where England or Lions Union shirt and told useless bastards bawling from sideline was working to a different standard. Upset our own team sometimes as always gave benefit to the attacking team.

Sorry to hear about the situation with the young ref. It's a thankless task and I respect anyone who does it.

Good day for footy in our house. Youngest scored as we beat the best team in our league 3-2 then eldest and her team won 6-1.

Absolutely balderdash weekend.

Lads under 12s got beat in last minute 4-3 after coming back from 3 down.

Lads under 15s just been walloped 4-0 away at Fleetwood Town in a 4:30pm Kick off meaning no Bay Horse for me.

Fucking hate football.

battered West Brom, somehow lost 1-0, then failed to turn v Boro (why does that haunt me) on Saturday

drew 0-0 with Chelsea then beat West Ham 1-0 yesterday

Really proud Dad today. Daughter's in Year 8 (u13) at high school and was asked to train with the Yr10/11 joint u15/u16 team for a Tournament next week - Scored 7 goals and has been asked to represent them

2-3 years up, so she's very nervous, but she'll smash it as long as she believe in herself. She'll look like a midget as she's absolutely bang average height for her age..

On a negative note, my son looks like he might have some sort of Medial Ligament strain and has to rest. Been flying recently but at least I get a lie in tomorrow!

Also yesterday… waited until U18s gaffer wasn’t grafting and gave in to his fanboy request for a pic 😂

He used to go in the same barbers as me when I lived in Royton, good bloke 👍

On a similar note, was having a carpet fitted by two lads yesterday, one of whom knows Max Conway through youth football, spoke highly of him
