stevieb
I've not bothered to read it properly but... Drink outside til 10pm What about drinking pop or eating inside after 6pm? Is that banned? It's fucking mental all this now.
crawshawbooth
i think that she has an attitude to alcohol that dosent reconcile with all the stuff people put in place for the eat out policy. a lot of people put in stuff to stay safe with screens , masks and registration at a cost, not to be shut down because it is their living
Escobarp
It’s a bit weird really. Behaviour in pubs up in Scotland has been better I would say than down south from my limited sampling of venues. can’t see north of England not following suit for a c2week circuit breaker

leigh white
Scottish drinking laws before 1976 were very strict, that's why they all went mental when visiting B/Pool on the Glasgow Fortnight.

We agree on that

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 8, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted October 8, 2020 Krankie has the same issues as our lot, and other governments the world over. Every tom dick and Harry wants a say. Make the science public etc. How many council leaders, mayors etc are qualified to actually interpret it accurately? Won't it just lead to more head scratching amongst the public and mis-information? We'd all like a bit more information, but I'm not sure it would necessarily make much difference- people will still choose to belive or disbelieve parts that are inconvenient. This is the problem with choice of scientific expert. They are, by necessity, fairly nerdy. Would they honestly be capable of dumbing their area of expertise to such a level that Boris, (a guy who has never actually worked a day in his life and therefore has very little by way of life skills) can internalise and then explain to the population? leigh white
Pubs in B/Pool inundated with requests from Rangers fans to come down and watch the game. I remember in 2008 going to the resort a day before they played the match with Zenit in Manc, never seen as many Gers fans.
