That said, different areas are dealing with the immunisations better than others by the sounds of it

The form I filled in today just asked me to prove I was a health care worker or social care worker with my ID badge. But it did also say that if you can work from home you are not eligible, so I reckon that blokes daughter is taking liberties. On another note, if 4 and half million have been done surely that covers all the over 80s.

It has happened and those doing it have been encouraged to ensure none goes to waste. And yes, even if wfh, she could have got a call to pop down. Problem is, folk are pissed off with it all so the Government gets it in the neck (some absolutely deserved though) and so do all agencys involved. I think we need to chill our boots a little, this for me seems to be the one thing we are getting right!

Our local Waitrose has shut for two weeks as too many staff got it or are isolating, but folk can shop somewhere else, so it's for the best I'd hate to think we have less police on the streets because they caught it breaking up a lock in at the bottom bull or dealing with someone pretending they were exempt from wearing a mask I think anyone frontline or public service should be up there

MalcolmW
I got a vaccination invite by text at 14.04 today, giving a choice of 2 venues. Chose one and was then given a selection of slots for next Wednesday or Thursday. Chose a convenient one for Thursday and got a confirmation e-mail at 14.09. It's just that there are so many mixed messages about alcohol diluting the effect of the jab that I thought I'd abstain for a while. Never did drink much at home so not too difficult but I'd never have reached seven days if the pubs were open.
Mounts Kipper
Took my dad for vaccine at the etihaad, was superbly run in and out in 5 minutes, there was hardly anyone in there, the number of nurses there they could have been easily doing 1000s an hour, superbly run well organised, great job done by all.
