I see the lad still hasn't worked out the water reference when rewording the 'Free Palestine' chant to make it less 'racist'. Funny watching him try as always though.

I'm sure he has. You're just not seeing the bigger picture.

Why would folk living in England chant free our water?

They're not in Palestine and have probably never been.

It's not their water, so why chant it?

Are you suggesting all water that enters Palestine belongs to their supporters and those in agreement with their views?

Weird

And you say I’m the master of whataboutery 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Fkinell from the Sun, to stolen water on the tube, to Rishi to the chief of UN.

That Laurence Fox has a lot to answer for

What about me? What about you? And on and on…

Do you not get bored of all this?

It’s all connected. The UN, Western Leaders & media reporting of these events. It’s one big conflict that could soon escalate, and I wonder what our leaders will say if Israel drags our own lads & lasses into it all.

Not sure what you’re on about with this water thing. You can read back if you want to try and understand the reference. If not, I’ll leave to your Whataboutery 👍

I’ve read it back, it still makes no sense. “Please give us our water back” why would people on a london tube want to chant that?

Majority of the uk population want a ceasefire

Amd much of the west agreeing

Clearly, its a tough one when theres hundreds held hostage

Sounds like they will release the Israeli hostages if up to 5k Hamas terrorists are released.

Sounds like a great deal 🙄

It needs to happen as an escalation could have terrible consequences. Time for calm heads.

I imagine 99.9 % of those people on the train have never lived or been near Gaza.

But they want THEIR water back 😄

Crazy stuff from the teacher.

Under international law it seems that there is no requirement for Israel to provide the water and energy it does to Gaza so why would anyone in their right mind think that they should continue to do so and sustain a morally corrupt and murderous enemy which has just carried out one of the most heinous atrocities in history?

The suffering of 'ordinary' Palestinians (I would contend that celebrating the butchering of babies as though your team had just won the World Cup is anything but 'ordinary') is completely down to Hamas. The surgeon needs to arrive and remove that cancer before things can get better.

That ground invasion

You're desperate to be shown correct!

Anyway small squads still carrying out brief incursions into the territory.

So long as rockets as still being fired from Gaza, it would seem unlikely, and perhaps unnecessary for a full invasion.

Such rocket attacks will prevent any chance whatsoever of a ceasefire. The largest bombardment launched from Gaza yesterday since the start of the war. All from areas surrounded by homes etc.

Im guessing the usual percentage misfire and fall short landing in Gaza.
I wonder how many of the Palestinian casualties are down to the rockets?

Quite possible, though I doubt we'll ever know .

At least one did get through, past the iron dome.

Fair enough

It’s not the same imo.

There’s scales to this. I wouldn’t be calling for his head either if he had said Bless Israel. But if he was joining in with an EDL  chant about Mosques, or an IRA tune, then of course he needs to go as it’s prejudiced.

Free Palestine isn’t a racist song. So a final warning would do for me. But I’m not in charge so it’s up to TfL to decide now.

It's hard to ever have a 1:1 comparison, but for example 'All Lives Matter' isn't in and of itself a racist statement. But it is a loaded phrase that has been co-opted by people with far more extreme beliefs.

Whether the tube driver is or isn't hostile to Jews, or cheers on the brutal murder of them by terrorists, who knows. But it's abundantly clear that plenty of people on that march sadly do.

The videos of people defacing missing persons pictures and the social media activity of some of the people being used by Sky/ITV as reporters/commentators are shocking. And again, I would consider myself to be broadly on their side.
