To an extent, you're right.

However, there are thousands of innocent Palestinians being denied basic human rights by the Israelis. This conflict didn't start with Hamas' deplorable attack, it has been going on for years.

The only solution is to give the Palestinians a settled land of they own, rather than constantly squeezing them into an ever decreasing space. Israel has plenty of space for its population, it doesn't need to take away land from the Palestinians. 

Hamas may well be Palestinians, but nowhere near all Paelestinians are Hamas.

They did and I believe it wasn't all down to politics or hostility, it was also partially down to which size & pieces of land (they'd effectively previously annexed) the Israelis were prepared to vacate.

I think most people agree to the 2 state solution. Easy to say in one sentence. How it’s eventually carved up is anyone’s guess. Arguments on both sides. 🤷‍♂️

Spot on. The only solution is by agreed concessions on both sides and a settlement that gives both people an ability to co exist. We need a ceasefire immediately and our political leaders need to grow some balls and stop condoning this Israel campaign. 
 

You will never appease Hamas, you will never appease some Israelis. These are the extremes and they want violence. Current actions are feeding these extreme viewpoints at the expense of innocent people.

The more you delve the more complicated it gets. Hamas and Fatah were killing each other before Hamas took complete control. Fatah now control the Palestinians in the West Bank. If the Israelis eliminate Hamas, then Fatah could control Gaza and they’ll all live happily ever after.

Ukraine sent much of its population away from the fighting to protect them.

Hamas tells its people to remain, whilst hiding weaponry amongst them.

Gaza is also far more densely populated to begin with.
