deeane Koontz Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Let's hope Guehi doesn't get injured as that defence is powder puff Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Think Bowen offers something different off the bench. Neither Palmer or Foden have had good seasons. Quote

Didledee Posted May 22 Posted May 22 There's quality everywhere in the team, I'd take MGW or Wharton instead of Henderson, couldn't he go as part of the backroom staff or just a moral role? Trent over Spence and Palmer despite form is capable of a moment of brilliance, he's a quality player. I get the The Toney pick, but it's not one I'd have chose We have good options on the bench without Palmer, Foden etc, I wonder if Rashford v Gordon will see rotation in that position the most, too early for Rio yet but fancy that position to be his in future tournaments. I think that along with the 10 position is the only really debatable starting area, but you'd be brave to leave Bellingham out Quote
mickbrown Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Ivan Toney? Get to fuck Henderson? Get even further to fuck. He was shit when he was good. Quote
mickbrown Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Having said that, there's 4 in that squad that I've literally never heard of. Livramento, Quansah, Anderson and Madueke. Who the fuck are they? Quote
Didledee Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Madueke as played a good part for England filling in for Saka, Elliot Anderson as been class for Forest and England and will get a huge move in the summer, surely you've heard of him? he's first choice with Rice, vital player we've not had before in recent tournaments. Nope - never heard of either of them. I'm proper out of touch. Quote

Arrested development Posted May 22 Posted May 22 The Toney stuff is blown out of proportion. He's third choice striker. If all he does is score in a penalty shoot out when we need him to it's a success. Hes also used to playing in 30+ degrees and it might be a shit league , but he's prolific in it. I actually don't mind the team. The defence is average no matter who plays. Least there is balance and width. That Southgate squad for the world cup was fucking dreadful. Trippier left back. Foden left wing, both come inside, no width. Ended up playing saka as LWB. Proper shite. Quote
bwfc6ix Posted May 22 Posted May 22 There were 5 number 10s he could pick from. He's never taking 5 so had to chop it down. Foden and Palmer have had poor seasons. I'm personally more surprised MGW hasn't made it. I'd have had Maguire over Burn and would have loved Wharton in the squad. Quote
