March 25, 20224 yr Very sad news, I had a few beers with him at Kirkys funeral and was speaking to him earlier in the week about raffling a rangers shirt. R.I.P. Al, a genuinely decent bloke who would do anything for you
March 25, 20224 yr Bloody hell, I knew he’d been poorly. Spoke to Al a few times, a genuinely lovely fella. The work the remembrance group do is absolutely incredible. His legacy will long live on. Rest in peace Al

March 25, 20224 yr Shocked by this. Spoke to him on Monday & exchanged messages last night about tombola prizes for future events. A selfless man who did so much for others. RIP….
March 25, 20224 yr Terribly sad news. If you remember a friend of mine, Karl, sadly died last year and the Remembrance Group were amazing. Al is a huge loss, not just to BWFC, but as a thoroughly nice bloke in general. RIP.
March 25, 20224 yr Didn't know him personally but know that he was very well thought of by some proper Wanderers. RIP
March 26, 20224 yr I found out early last year that his days were numbered. To the best of my knowledge he never talked about his health issue publicly. Never look for sympathy. Never asked for it. He kept his business, his business. And he absolutely adored BWFC. Very, very sad loss.
March 26, 20224 yr RIP spoke to him last week was going to paint is living room for nout for all the stuff he dose for BWRG
March 26, 20224 yr That's a shock. Never met him but chatted to him quite a bit on Facebook to do with 80s video footage and general Wanderers stuff from that era. He was very clearly someone who'd followed the Wanderers everywhere for a very long time. RIP.
March 26, 20224 yr Awful news. The broadcasts he did with old players were great during lockdown. And the Remembrance work is phenomenal, what a legacy. RIP Al
March 26, 20224 yr Didn’t know him but have just caught up with his work. Amazing. Selfless commitment with genuine sincerity, without a thought for his own health issues. RIP
March 26, 20224 yr Good lad Al, very passionate about the BWRG and took a lot of satisfaction out of the effort he put in, overwhelmed at times. R.I.P Al, enjoy your catch up with the names on the flag pal.
March 26, 20224 yr Sad news. Never knowingly met him, but clearly a man who gave of himself to others. RIP.
