Ok fair fucks they won the league an’ all that, but tonight i had to endure a midnight train full of the turds on a train from Manc to Wigan with loads of feral scruffs singing “Bolton get battered” blah fucking blah.

They can enjoy their day in the sun, but we’re on our way back and our paths will no doubt cross again.

We should never be a division below the donkey lashers though surely. The less time that remains the case the better. It's been good to see them slowly get more and more out of their depth at Championship level.

I hate that fixture as well. It's somehow different to Blackburn, PNE etc ... they have a special dislike for us. It's also a fixture in which nobody ever seems to win away games. We've not won there since 77 and they've not win at Bolton since 86 (similar amount of games involved in both as we never played between 78 and 85).

Anyway - a draw on Saturday would be the right outcome.

Hate Blackpool much more than the rugby town team. Both are going down so it’s of no matter to me who wins/loses. Just want to miss them both next season.

I’m the opposite. I don’t dislike Blackpool even nearly as much as I do Wigan. At least Blackpool have some historical context whereas Wigan have none whatsoever. I really don’t mind a trip to the Fylde coast.

Wigan, jumped-up toe-rags with nothing to commend them. Sooner they're a postscript in the history books the better.

Blackpool, notable history, run for too long by a pervy charlatan. I can't get worked up about them. Funny to see them struggle after recent years turning their ship around. I'll shed no tears when they go down in a couple of weeks.

Totally agree, as the youngest of 5 I've been.brought up to hate anything red

I'm in my early forties. If your my age, Blackpool just don't register (unless your name is Gonzo for obvious reasons). I'm well aware of the history, and love PaulHanleys takedowns, but the truth is we've hardly played them in 30 years.  Wigan, my natural instinct is to be aloof, but them being our main rival is where we have been at for a decade or so to be honest. Does feel like times are changing, but thought they were goners last time so don't want to assume to much this time.
