It’s so unnecessary. An British detective would have been perfect.

The Mrs has got the bug for courtroom films so it was a few good men last night. Excellent.

Any recommendations?

"To kill a mockingbird".  The book's a classic but, trouble is, i can't remember if the film is any good or not.

Knives out...Daniel Craig in Agatha type whodunnit

For some reason he has a deep south (usa) accent

6

Next on the list, official secrets is now free on prime

Saw that last week. Not bad.

Couldn't decide if there was a bit of a send up there, but not the best, not the worst.

For reasons I can't actually fathom I've rewatched The Long Good Friday, Stir Crazy, The Blues Brothers, and Barbarella so far this bank holiday.

Blues Brothers was far worse of a film than I remembered, good bits but never a film.

Had forgotten exactly how incredible Jane Fonda was though in Barbarella, might have to rewatch that again.

I understand the reasons why but i made it a tradition that i only watch the long good Friday on good Friday

That seems a far more sensible approach.

Two things came from rewatching it, Harold makes an impassioned remainer speech long before remaining was a thing.

"The Mafia? I've shit 'em" is still one of the all time great lines.

I only first saw it 10 years or so ago

Didn't even recognise Charlie from Casualty though did spot Jacko from Brushstrokes

And Pierce Brosnan (in his first film)

Plus that bad guy from raiders of the lost ark and the top dog in lock stock

Helen Mirren obvs and that Scouse black lad from full monty

Basically everyone except Charlie

I watched sully

Again

If the representation of the inquiry is anything like accurate, folk want their bollocks booting in

The lead investigator guy was a moody fucker. The blonde alongside him who, mid-hearing nonchalantly declared that the engine they’d previously declared to be ok was, in fact, as fucked as Sully had told them...

It just had to be dramatic license.
