In 3 seasons at Bolton, the only striker Parky had who was good enough for the division we were in, was Madine , & it was Parky who turned him into a decent player. The rest of the time he was having to make do with duds like Wilbrahim, Le Fondre, Magennis & Donaldson, with no money to recruit better.

& Parky got us promoted from this division at the first attempt.

Stupid bastard shouldn’t have signed them should he

I'm not convinced he did. Anyway, we signed practically the only players we could, and they were ones that, by and large, weren't good enough for the level we were playing at. The ones that had a bit about them, he generally improved.

But the past is the past.

Le Fondre a dud? Only under Parky  with the ball sailing over his head. Scored goals everywhere that lad . Anyway i dont give a fuck what Parky cheerleaders like you and Fanny 5 say . I love watching the football we play under Hilly with a team built from less than Parkinson had. You honestly think wed all be going home smiling and looming forward to the game if he was still here. Bollocks .

Le fondre dud?

Best laugh I’ve had for ages

Yep the Forest miracle was Parkinson's finest hour. Cleverley leaving ALF on bench to stick with his lump up top strategy. This lulled Forest into a false sense of security until he then brought the dud on who scored and put a perfect cross in for Big Wilbs to score winner in last minute. Genius

Now if you want to carry on watching Parky Dross do us all a favour  Parkinson Va Va Voom and fuck off to Sunderland, Lee Butler might give you a lift

le Fondre is a good fox in the box but he failed at his three other Championship clubs inbetween his spells here. And there's a reason for that.

Right for last time.

He 'failed' at Cardiff and Wolves because he was only a back up option he never got a proper chance. And as for Wigan well since when do we use them as a yardstick for quality the scruffy cunts.

And anyway i prefer  to judge him on what i saw not what he might  or might not have done somewhere else. That goal against Fulham was the best goal ive seen at home since the Premier League. He was easily good enough for lower half championship in terms of goalscoring.  But he was a footballer too which is why he was useless to Parky and his 'system'.

Its gone now and thank god so is parkinson

Woah, I share your opinions re Parky and obviously VaVa doesn't agree, but the lest thing we want is telling long serving loyal fans to go elsewhere.

I don't think Luke Murphy is all that great, though there is some improvement. Others seem to disagree. Fair enough.

But, for now, let's share in the pleasure of a fine home win.

He failed because he offers very little else, which means he has to be played in a two. Which then means playing with one less further behind, usually by taking one from midfield. Most teams play with three in the centre of midfield, unless they're good enough to play with just two and we weren't. There were plenty of times when he played and did nothing simply because we weren't capable of getting it to him in a dangerous area (hint: it was a major reason why we went on that end of season slump before saving ourselves on the final day).

But anyway, it's done with now.

Belting win yesterday, 1st time I’ve seen a home league win in 2019. Played some decent stuff too considering we had a better team in the treatment room.

Lowe was immense but I’m really liking the partnership developing down our right hand side, both Dodoo and Emmanuel put a real shift in. Carry on boys

Best game ive seen emmanual have was against us

I thought at the time he was some prem loanee

Hes much better attacking than defending

Thats fine this season as we have better players than many teams in this league

Defensively, plenty room for improvement but theres time for that

Alf a dud 🤣

seem to be forgetting what league we were in when we initially got him in on loan and his scoring rate

near enough 1 in 2 from memory and we were shit then too. He just didn’t watch the ball fly over his head

The dud who put 4 past us at Reading?

Zouma needs a consistent partner alongside him. Can't help his development to be playing next to some one different every game.

Hopefully a run of games partnering Wright will do him a world of good.

If he is going to go galavanting forwards every so often Lowe or Murphy need to start dropping in.

I guarantee if zouma was some fcuking journeyman, he wouldnt be getting criticised to this degree

Instead, hes a young kid with a dozen games under his belt, with immense promise

All the physical attributes, a real desire to do well and all we seem to want to do is bring him down
