I don't mind it particularly - but it's a bit rough to start blaming the papers when he's said something deliberately to get a reaction. I like Barton. I think the bloke has worked hard to change his life round from a challenging upbringing. Reading his book probably brought that change on in my opinion of him. I’d have to question the ‘believes he should be a premier league manager’ statement as I haven’t seen anything suggesting that. Twice he's had a pop publicly at zouma. I reckon he's doing ok. At 21, he's still learning, and centre half is arguably the most difficult position to learn.
