  • Harrogate (H) 16th place 3 points
  • Salford (A) 11th place. 0 points
  • Grimsby (A) 24th 1 point
  • Carlisle (H) 9th place. 1 point
  • Morecambe (A) 5th place 3 points
  • Exeter (H) 8th place 3 points
  • Crawley (A) 14th place 3 points

14 points. Not sure where that would leave us.

I get 13 points on current form.

But I'm a miserable bastard.

And I'm not sure our style suits the play offs?

Should be ok over 2 legs in semi finals,  not sure about a one off final, we don’t score many, might need to change tactics and cut loose in a final.

I think our style of play is perfect for the play offs. Granted we don't score many, but we don't concede many either. Semi away 0-0, win the home leg 1-0, win the final 1-0. Job done. PS - i'd prefer us not to be in the play offs, my nerves couldn't take it. 78 points may just be enough for 3rd place, so W4 D2 L1 might just be the minimum required scrape it.

For me Sarcevic is the key he plays in last 6/7 games and think we have more than enough, if he doesn’t it’s a big problem.

I agree. I'd hate to play him too early though & risk losing him for another 5 games or so. If in doubt i think IE should maybe rest him till the last 4 or 5 games.

If he’s nearly fit I’d put him on bench Saturday as an insurance policy.

Why are people worried about Tranmere who havent won in there last 4 games

Aye,Tranmere have 1 win from their last 6 games, same as Salford and Forest Green. Morecambe have won 2 of their last 6. It's all about who holds their nerve for the last 7 games.

All our main rivals apart from Salford seem to have tricky away fixtures this weekend - Tranmere are at Scunthorpe,  Morcambe are at Port Vale, Forest Green are at Walsall, Exeter are at Cambridge and finally Newport are at Mansfield. We really, really need  3 points v Harrogate. COYFWM

Exactly - do our job and then see where we are at 5 o clock.

They're still above us, and are a decent side.

Can't take anyone near us lightly, and have to keep picking up points.

Chances are FGR have blown it, and still have to play Tranmere, but they could still have a say. Morecambe match could be huge for us.

They haven’t done so well recently though after losing Vaughan and Spearing, so hopefully we can make some headway on them before both return?

Port Vale lost 5 on bounce when we lost to them at home.

Exactly, form in this league means dick. Beat the team in front of you one by one

When I watched our game v them recently it was with their commentators

They sounded massively down about their form and season

They've won all 5 games since
