All this talk of it being a distraction is mental. Like people actually think we are going up automatically.

We will get the play offs but there are no guarantees. Money in and a trophy would be great for where we’ve been.

a don’t understand how anyone would not want a win at Wembley. Seeing us win a trophy would be mint.

@radcliffe whiteis finally being sensible

The thought of 2 wembkeys with at least one junior in tow is a messy prospect for the bank balance

Speaking to a few yesterday and the feeling is no hardship if we go out, could be like 95 big turn out for first cup final then disappointing numbers for play off

i think we would get a fair few. the main issue is travel.

34 seater coach was with tables is £2k return. i wanted to do the train but strikes ruining lives again.

No one knows how it is going to pan out in the long run. We could get to the final win it then win our final however many games. We could get to the final, lose and it starts a slide in the league. Same said for the semi. Far too many variables which we won’t know until the end of the season.

taking the game as a single situation and on it’s own merits, every player will dream of getting to Wembley and will all see it as a fantastic thing. As a fan I would much rather get to a final see my club at Wembley again over being sat at home thinking that should of been us

Oh I get that ie will never know. I think I was trying to suggest how little it means to me that any slight advantage id take. Fwiw I think winning breeds confidence.

It means little to me to be fair too. But it’s seeing us at Wembley. Regardless of the comp that’s something a club and fans base like ours shouldn’t pass up

Aye I’ve done every final from Torquay on but I can’t get into this at all.

No issue for those that do and hope for some glory as I’d want Bolton to win any game.

Some sides you would feel iffy about playing in a play off

wycombe ain’t one we simply didn’t perform to our best can’t see them being in play offs come may

I'd rather play Barnsley or Ipswich than Wycombe, they seem to have more about them, can score all types of goals and have that physicality that we don't enjoy playing against.

My first “real” game Torquay. Was my 7th birthday and I was bought in forever. After all the shit of the last decade all the younger gen who have stuck by the club almost need it I think

Completely understood. Deserved and all that.

I would have thought for the players a final at Wembley would be a big thing.

Winning it would have to do good for bringing them together as a team. It is no brainer for me.

What is strange given some people do not give a shit is that I still could not get tickets for the Semi
