I’ve felt pretty confident all week. Not quite as confident as I was ahead of Wembley (with the betting slip to prove it) but the win at their place shows we can do it, and do it comfortably. Yes it was against 10 men but that was for good reason when Charles was terrorising them. What(ever) will be, will be.

Maybe, was Hazzi park your manor?

Yep at times from 69 to 74 as a teenager. Played various matches on there up to 1990.

For Christ Church and Beaumont.

Quietly confident about this one. These lot have lost their last two home games, not scored a goal, and conceded five, they are beatable.

Lots of folk on Twitter 'even if we lose it has been a good season.'

Which might be true but totally wrong attitude to take into a game.

Very much doubt that's what the players are thinking.

It has been a great season for a number of reasons, the club, fans, team and results all pulling in the right direction it's fantastic to see.

However, with Ipswich and potentially Sheff Weds going up 2 big hitters, replaced by Wigan/Blackpool/Reading, the pressure for us to get the top 2 next season & with the addition of even more season ticket holders, getting 20k gates next year, it will increase tenfold.

A club of our size 3 years will be a lot at this level even regardless of the how far we've come from the abyss.

Feel good factor is great currently, but if we stay another season, let's see how long that lasts.

im very chilled

i make it 60/40 in their favour

and prob similar odds if we get to the final

so, every chance we lose but its not end of the world if we dont do it...one things for sure theres nowt worse than losing a play off final, so if we are not going up, let it end tonight

That's where I'm at.  On a scale of 1 to 10, previous play off 2nd legs I was at least a 9 for being "all in".

About a 6 this time, if we get to Wembley great, if we don't its no big deal.  Play offs is a 1 in 4 chance, and we start again in a couple of months in a weakened L1 hoping for top 2 next time.

Tbf 3 years is nowt compared to how long it took Sheff Weds and Ipswich to get out of here

Sheffield utd took a good while.

No one goes up purely because they're a big club. Still needs the players etc.

this is only Sheff Weds second season in L1

Ipswich and Sheff Utd did it at the 4th attempt

Plymouth did it after 3 years since coming up from L2

so it's plenty do-able and not beyond the realms of exptancy this season or next or whenever

though with our player turnover and reliance on loans, we have to take whatever chances of going up that come away, I won't be consoling myself with "well it's been a good season" etc if we lose

we won't build a championship ready team till we're in the championship, but we've got a play off ready team right now

so let's go for it

I am in the if we don't go up it's massive progress camp, yeah I will be pissed off if we lose tonight, but will look forward to next season with expectations, 3 years ago we were 19th in league 2, now in with a chance of Championship football, big shout out to everyone concerned at the club.

I’m totally chilled about tonight.

Made massive progress this season on & off the pitch.

Would really hate to lose in the final to SW.

Real push for top 2 next season should we fall short.
