May 19, 20233 yr Iโve felt pretty confident all week. Not quite as confident as I was ahead of Wembley (with the betting slip to prove it) but the win at their place shows we can do it, and do it comfortably. Yes it was against 10 men but that was for good reason when Charles was terrorising them. What(ever) will be, will be.ย
May 19, 20233 yr Bricking it here, our Maud has asked at work if she can go home early she's that nervous, she finishes at 1pm today usually ๐ย

May 19, 20233 yr Quietly confident about this one. These lot have lost their last two home games, not scored a goal, and conceded five, they are beatable.
May 19, 20233 yr Another angle is that weโve got loads of improvement in us compared to Saturday. Can Barnsley play much better than they did then?
May 19, 20233 yr Lots of folk on Twitter 'even if we lose it has been a good season.' Which might be true but totally wrong attitude to take into a game.ย
May 19, 20233 yr Nerves have set it, donโt feel confident about tonight. Got a bad feeling. Hope Iโm wrong ๐ข

May 19, 20233 yr It has been a great season for a number of reasons, the club, fans, team and results all pulling in the right direction it's fantastic to see. However, with Ipswich and potentially Sheff Weds going up 2 big hitters, replaced by Wigan/Blackpool/Reading, the pressure for us to get the top 2 next season & with the addition of even more season ticket holders, getting 20k gates next year, it will increase tenfold. A club of our size 3 years will be a lot at this level even regardless of the how far we've come from the abyss. Feel good factor is great currently, but if we stay another season, let's see how long that lasts. Edited May 19, 20233 yr by Lostock Whites
May 19, 20233 yr Tbf 3 years is nowt compared to how long it took Sheff Weds and Ipswich to get out of here Wagons roll COYWM
May 19, 20233 yr Sheffield utd took a good while. No one goes up purely because they're a big club. Still needs the players etc.
May 19, 20233 yr Have a great night to the lucky ones going!ย And if anyone fancies my super sizzlin 78/1 betslip. See below. Steaks and chateau de pape tomorrow.ย

About a 6 this time, if we get to Wembley great, if we don't its no big deal.ย Play offs is a 1 in 4 chance, and we start again in a couple of months in a weakened L1 hoping for top 2 next time.

Still needs the players etc. this is only Sheff Weds second season in L1 Ipswich and Sheff Utd did it at the 4th attempt Plymouth did it after 3 years since coming up from L2 so it's plenty do-able and not beyond the realms of exptancy this season or next or whenever though with our player turnover and reliance on loans, we have to take whatever chances of going up that come away, I won't be consoling myself with "well it's been a good season" etc if we lose we won't build a championship ready team till we're in the championship, but we've got a play off ready team right now so let's go for it
May 19, 20233 yr I am in the if we don't go up it's massive progress camp, yeah I will be pissed off if we lose tonight, but will look forward to next season with expectations, 3 years ago we were 19th in league 2, now in with a chance of Championship football, big shout out to everyone concerned at the club.

Aye. Disappointed of couese we all would be. Just go again next time.
May 19, 20233 yr Iโm totally chilled about tonight. Made massive progress this season on & off the pitch.ย Would really hate to lose in the final to SW. Real push for top 2 next season should we fall short. ย
