Hes like Frandsen turning in a tight spot.

I'm still not totally sold on him. Thomason has become our number 1 midfielder - but I also think Dempsey and Morley will have something to say about that when they get a start too.

Great position to be in

Aye

Can't change the middle 3 on current form and still got Dempsey and Morley chipping in with goals when they've had a chance to play

4 forwards with 6 goals in the last two games too

As good as it gets this right now

Strange that today I hardly noticed Sheehan in general play (and yes he totally created the 2nd goal).  But over the last few months he has been by some margin our best midfielder, IMO.  Today we score 7 and he was anonymous for much of it, the ball simply didn't come to him much, for whatever reason.  (The first half hour seemed to be Toal, Tomo and Iredale swapping passes without going far and the front 2 taking turns to lose possession).  Winning a league game 7-0 without many of our players being at their best and our keeper never handling the ball, that has to be a first.

Their number 16 was man marking Sheehan.

Sheehan got absolutely man marked all over the place by their number 16. Literally like his shadow.

Said it after the Wycombe game, that midfield of Thomason, Sheehan and Maghoma just looks another level than what we had before, it just has the perfect balance.

Sheehan dominates from deep and starts the play with his low centre of gravity and playmaking.

Maghoma looks a revelation, looks to beat a man or 2 and take shots from range, has skill and is our wildcard.

Thomason is just an absolute shithouse, never runs out of energy, kicks the shit out of people and scores and odd thundercunt of a goal.

Then you got Morley, Dempsey, Gomes etc coming on. Looks good.

Think you are doing him a disservice with this comment, he is so much more than that. Some great touches and passes today, and in previous games. He keeps the midfield ticking over, but does add a bit of steel.

He has impressed in how much he has grown, almost every game he seems to get better. One of those players that just wants to learn and improve, long may it continue.

I am just a bit of a joke but seriously thought he's become massive for us, still so young, he's offers a lot to the team, in my opinion much more valuable than say Morley.

Maghoma has really impressed me too, it would be fantastic if we could get him permanently, hopefully in the championship.

The amount of folk leaving early is crazy, I’m not talking about 5 mins either

Fella that sits next to me, for about 7 or 8 years now, leaves every week without fail on 80 mins. He's a great lad, the sort that I'd consider a mate now even just through seeing at the footy and nowhere else, but the amount of "moments" he's missed over the years is fuckin crazy. Asked why once and he reckons missing them things is outweighed by beating traffic. Honestly can't my head round that way of thinking

Waiting for the 'should have scored more' or 'Evatt not good enough to get us out of this division'? Not tonight?

My only concern is peaking too early. I didn't want us to become the hunted until late January.

Clearly going up. Only question is will it be as champions? The man from Del Monte, he say................

Watching Thomason's game grow month by month is a pleasure. Even compared to August he's a better performer. I was thinking of similar scenarios in the past. McAteer sprang to mind, but actually a better comparison is Kevin Nolan.

Thomason has learnt a lot in the last few weeks. He used to be getting booked almost every week but he seems to have slowed it down a bit and now he has more time to think before he clatters someone. The result is a much better player  making more space and using it to the team’s advantage.

I doff by bob hat to his improvement and will henceforth call him Tommo.

I was thinking the same re Nolan, hopefully he can become as Important and Influential as he was. Will need to up his pointing game though.

I enjoyed his shot 2nd half which floored their defender. Hit with real venom

He's got some distance to go before he's up to Nolan standard but the speed of development is the same. Leaps and bounds this season!

Took our time and didn’t panic.

great to see so many chances and different scorers.

also good to see wanting to carry on scoring goals when we could have just shut up shop.  An 11 goal swing in a day - wow

being able to change half a team who actually could all start and get into any other team in this league.

take a bow all of you - now let’s go and not lose these next 2 and juggernaut on to promotion.

Haha mad logic. Surely not going would beat the traffic altogether then.

11 goal swing has blown my mind. Just doesn’t happen often

Pretty close to the perfect performance yesterday, an absolute joy to watch. Clear to see the coaching staff and players had a great couple of weeks on the training ground, link up play all over the pitch, every player hungry for the ball or to win back possession, great to see toal giving irdale a bollocking on one of the rare occasions a sloppy pass occurred .feared we might miss Williams when the team was announced but iredale slotted in seamlessly .

Exactly, just hang around for an hour have a beer or a coffee, wallow in the positive atmosphere, my worst nightmare is home early Saturday night and having to watch early evening Saturday TV.
