Me neither, he overplays everything and there's no indication of an end product but I liked him pushing Santos off the pitch. Other than that I'm struggling a bit from today.

Gomes is another… sadly he’s not hit the ground running but I’ve a hunch he’s better than Maghoma.

Individual mistakes by our ‘big’ players have cost us the last two games 

Charles’s miss at Pompey & Santos’s clanger today are examples .

Evatt can’t be blamed for those , however a failure to be pragmatic when the need arises, like changing the playing system/ & giving it a bit of the ‘kitchen sink’ treatment does matter.

Most teams losing with limited time available have a proper go , a point today would have been ok in the circumstances but the way we continued to play negated any defensive pressure on the opposition.The only period of sustained pressure was from the succession of corners , it’s not rocket science.

Seems to be some new faces near us and Morley is their new scapegoat so Maghoma is safe for a while yet I reckon.

Agreed, was brought in to give us 'carries' as was CMG. As Mounts says, frustrating with CMG not getting going, he might be good but we're at Xmas and we don't know yet .

Maghoma has shown some good signs, and we do need more who are prepared to shake up a defensive unit by breaking through their lines, end product just the nagging issue at minute.

Wasn’t our best spell the first 20/30 mins of the 2nd half? The side that Evatt changed it to to try and get back in the game?

We had a calamitous spell from the sending off to the 2nd goal, which coincided with the subs.

Just thinking myself lucky that I was enjoying myself on the Polar Express in Wensleydale with my granddaughter whilst you were suffering another way below par performance. Pompey was more than just a bad result and was a mental collapse too which I felt would affect them again today, which obviously it did, especially Rico. You can make silly comments but you can’t deny the facts. The team is lacking and until it’s repaired we ain’t going anywhere. My big worry is that Evatt won’t bring in that type of player because they may contradict him and he won’t wear that.

At 1 i understood it, while thinking, really?

At 2 it was an awful decision

But, thats hindsight, isnt it

Forrester for Charles was at 1-0. The other subs all came in the second half, before we scored...

I got it. Keep JDB on. He olds it up better. Get another man behind the ball so we can build and not get caught on the break.  And this showed in the 2nd half to me.

They just had a crazy spell with and without the changes at the end of the first half.
