So its bog all to do with woke anything, its simply a design choice I believe, which I guess some feel they want a more traiditonal thing, some like a bit of change here and there.

Also, didn't we have this ten years ago designed by Peter Saville to represent the diversity of the country? Shows how far backwards we've gone when nothing was really said about this but now you get blowhards like Lee Anderson saying he wants his country back because of a small design element on a shirt.

correct, dress it up how they like, if it's not a red cross on a white background, then it's simply not the English flag, and it shouldn't have the colours changed. It also arguably shouldn't have peoples names and football clubs names written on it either, but that's another issue. Whilst on about the English flag, I'm not sure I get why at England games there are always loads of Union Jacks, as that's not the English flag.
