Yep. Top stuff and sold at the Spanish Club here in Perth which I frequent from time to time.

My personal favourite is Estrella Galicia but I have become very partial to Victoria Marengo Negra in recent times. You'd never be constipated with the latter!

Italian lager is my favourite, Peroni, Moretti, also the french lager Kronenbourg is a great lager. Not too fussed about Spanish lager, but will drink San Miguel.

Saying how madri is coors makes you really cool though. Truth is it’s a perfectly adequate pint when served cold.

Tomski is reet though. There are some excellent Spanish beers if you know where to look - ciders too.

Yeah German beers are the top dogs. It frustrates me that we accept second rate. Seeing Augustiner in more pubs though. The place in Horwich though served it warm the other week. Not cool.

Jennings have some fine beers, think its based in Cumbria .

Used to make Sneck Lifter but not seen it for a long time, supped loads of it in a pub in Coventry one time, always had a bit of a treacle toffee taste i thought.

Jennings are in Cockermouth Cumbria. We used to take a customer to a board mill near there and one of the people we took really liked his ale. We stayed at a hotel at the other end of the town and after work we would go for a meal and a drink. Once this bloke got in the Jennings pubs we couldn’t get him out. Sneck Lifter was his favourite.

Over the lake District i have had Loweswaters Gold a few times, its a light golden ale and personally i think its delicious but never seen it anywhere apart from around the lakes.

I found some beermats of Loweswaters Gold in a pub in Lancaster but they never had the beer and denied they had ever even heard of it , but all their beer mats on tables.🤷

Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery do some fine ales, especially the stout and their 'tap' outlet is brilliant. I nipped in for a couple last night.

We went on a brewery trip from the Top Lock to Hawkshead brewery. They do some nice stuff. I like the Windermere Pale but I think it’s only about 3.8%. You’d drown in it before you got pissed. 
It’s a nice village with plenty of pubs.
