I'm so sick of feeling like this.

Coming back in the car yesterday we all felt the same had enough of losing games to poor defending and awful refs .

Got to disagree with you Tomski SS needs a clearout .

Time will tell. I don’t think we are far off. I think we need a good cm and another forward.

I think your shout is fair though as a sixth season at this level really isn’t good enough.

Ive seen what he can do

Ive not seen him be as good as santos at his best, so id agree with the prev poster on that, but he is a good signing....future fitness concerns aside

Probably take some pelters here I would get rid of the players who have been at the club through all this , Santos, Johno, Gethin, GT, Big Vic and dare I say Sheehan and start again I am also not convinced with some of the others either but we can’t get rid of too many.

He was onside, but i agree with your assessment of the performance

The 'gutless' comments are embarrassing

3 wouldnt have flattered us and 2 flattered them

If i can be critical either our crosses or our getting on the end of them is 2/10

Thats the problem and pre dates SS

Yes, we concede too easily but we dont score half as many as we should

How many times have we said this though? If [insert player] had just connected with that cross, if the ref had some bollocks, if [insert player] didn’t have a brain fart in defence, if their keeper didn’t pull off that worldy save.

In isolation, yesterday is just an example of a game where we played ok but got nothing from it. Your assessment that we could and possibly should have won it is probably fair and I completely agree that I don’t think we looked ‘gutless’.

This isn’t a one off though. We average less than half a point a game in derby matches. We can easily predict the outcome and result of them, no matter what the performance will be like.

It doesn’t really make sense to me because as Masi pointed out, it’s not like any of them are Bolton fans. Most of them won’t know that we haven’t won there since the 70s, there’s no way you’d consider it an intimidating place to go and nor is the DW for that matter - we usually have nearly as many fans there as they do - and the players change (very few will have played in more than 5 or 6 of those 16 that I pointed out). But there’s something in it because it’s such an outlier when you look at other results. It’s not just one game that we were unlucky in, it’s not just 2 or 3 which is a bit of a coincidence, it’s pretty much every local/derby game and that has to mean that there’s a reason for it.

I think we’ve finally got a proper leader in the dugout now, but we absolutely do not have one on the pitch. We need a captain, but we also need 2 or 3 on top of that that support them and instill a stronger mentality throughout the team. And on top of that we need more physicality - once again yesterday it was Forino and the 10 dwarves (slightly exaggerated but you get the point).

No pelters needed. I’m not a million miles off your train of thought. Santos has shown his true colours for me. I’d be amazed if we see him again. No malice really but he’s not for me.

Jones completes the full mullet transition and goes to oz in my head

Disagree on GJ as I think he’s one we should build a team around.

GT is a tricky one. Just not kicked on as I thought. Still could be useful.

Big Vic. No one disagrees surely ha.

Sheehan I think would be better a division above. Think it’s a tough gig for him playing with us. I’d be pleased if he stayed but would also understand if he went.

Hes off, but its closer than i thought

That var line would be close

Its a snapshot but on that it looks GJ is watching the ball and unaware of e nis

Still, they score, schons rolls like something that rolls very slow and is cleared

Just seen the red card. Do not think it gets overturned tbh.

But how are we at the end of March and we get a ref who has reffed 1 game all season ? Whatever the rights and wrongs of the red he only gave because their players shouted for it. Which is a complete joke.

Can someone explain the red card to me? I wasn't at the match and have just seen the highlights and I'm even more confused now.

On BBC it reported it as a two yellows with the dismissal for dissent. But on watching the highlights the red comes so far after the foul and Morley is miles from the ref, so did the ref just change his mind to a red after Blackpool protests? If so, that's pretty shocking.

Both goals our central defenders switched off and didn’t mark their forwards.

and comments about not scoring enough are spot on; we need a couple of proper forwards not someone like that Etete

Blackpool players forced the red with going at the forth official who recommended a red

He is on, SS would have more angles accepted the desicion

I don’t think you need any more angles. GJ’s back foot is a good yard into the dark green stripe whilst the forward is still in the light green stripe. He’s onside, it’s just shit defending (again)

To be fair, I expected it to be a red as soon as he pulled him.

I thought he got a yellow for the pull then a second yellow for dissent?
