Get one more win against Wigan and then forget about them for the next 20+ years ideally

Was thinking that. The account is not yet settled. We need to double these cunts this season. And then forget about them.

Hull city must have some fantastic strikers and central midfielders. Simons best player on the pitch today.

Forino also fantastic today, just like schueys stating line up for the occasion, which he absolutely nailed.

Wingers, Forss, Conway, Simons, Burstow, becoming nailed on starters also.

Cock on block but this squad should seriously be challenging for automatic promotion this season.

They had a good win today, hope they keep on doing well and their strikers keep scoring, so they don't feel the need to consider taking Burstow back

Actually scoring from our dominance makes all the difference. Too many times we have all the positive play but don't score then concede a shit goal and have to fight to get back into it

The first 2 goals both come from our wingers actually making good decisions with two simple passes/ crosses.

Earlier this season/ hell even the last game, both of them would have gone for a goal and sure it would have looked good for the stats but would have been another game we dominated etc.

Getting Gale and Dubry to make the right decision is going to be massive for us this season, it'll make the difference between automatics and mid table, it's that important.

Massive win.

Heard that on GMR and had that in mind when watching the highlights just now. How the fuck is that third goal anything but an absolute belter, they couldn’t get anywhere near the ball leading up to it

😁

@Johnnyrotten 25.5k attendance - are you happy with that? 😀

I'm jesting but it looked really full for a change this week so not many off the official attendance

Just empty at the end.

Something really does need to be done about that traffic after the match.

We park off the A6 so was like a drowned rat walking down to the game, but still better than sitting on the car park for hours.

Knew it was going to be a genuinely big turnout when we went to park up 80 minutes before kick off and were 100 yards away from parking over the Wigan border when normally we’d have the pick of the spaces.

If you mean dicconson lane. It ain't usually that busy it is that most of the wigan cunts will have come that way and parked there. Gerrard arms a bit further down was full of the fools after the game. All turning up pissed wet through and pissed off.

The road down to Aspull,Dicconson Lane?

I noticed before the match that loads of Tickheads had parked there today, but funny enough they'd all gone by the time we drove past after the game.

One word sums up today - sweet.

The train was rammed at half 10 with loads of yoof supping cans in their Stone Island and Burberry.

There is nowhere on the A6 anywhere near that close to Wigan?

Yeah that’s the one. Assumed it must have been a few of theirs with how empty it was by the time we got there after the game!

Turn at the lights at Royal Oak and it leads you to Aspull and Hindley. Usually takes 20-25 minutes to walk down but nearer to 35 today with how much further we had to go. Still better than however long it takes to get off the retail park these days.

Son in law has always been a utd fan, typical type, all the shirts and only ever been once to some sort of shitty chaity match.

Anyway, he knows a lot about football (sky education, such is the modern world), preaches to me today, ME! , that he will put money on us as automatic promotion.

I said mate, see that money that's in yer hand? Go & throw it as far as you can, give yer head a good shake and come back in April and take a sneaky peek. Love him to be right but unfortunately i have been supporting this lot for over 50 years and never get disappointed about being disappointed.

I have to come on here and eat humble pie regarding Cogley. After my criticism of him before the match he was excellent - best I've seen him play for ages. Well done.

Other points:

-Gale was immense, MOTM for me. The pace had in that first half especially terrorised Wigan

-Forss is exactly what we've been needing at 10. Him being there meant Simons and Erhahon didn't look too defensive at all

-Burstow is great, get him signed

And the main thing was just how up for it the team looked and how they're not going to get bullied by anyone. What a game!

No i dont think you do.....I along with you and   others thought he was not good enough....Good at times when a player defies you.

He’s sounding like Evatt.

JohnsTon was knackered by the end.

That collision of heads was brutal, the noise alone made me feel sick, and he seemed to struggle after that point despite being cleared to carry on.

I’m not his biggest fan but i thought exactly the same. He was great until that point and then made a few strange decisions - I said on a few occasions that I wasn’t sure he could see straight anymore
