If he's pulled wide early in that move you can't expect your centre half to just pull out wide and leave a massive gap in the middle. You can't tell from the feed where and when Marriott runs. Quote

Difficult to justify criticism of individual outfield players when our shape demands folk push forward to create our attacks which inevitably leaves us short at the back. We applaud our attacking play and chance creation, but we take risks to do that and good players can exploit them. Just need to play better in possession and take our chances. Quote
