We need to pick up points to make sure we cement our place in play offs, teams around us have games in hand can't afford to drop to many points

Beforehand, I said it would be a bit of a risk.

Conway likes to push on, and Cissoko isn't the best defensively.

Doesn't sit well with me though, that the full backs get so much shit, when it is clear that they are expected to get forward.

Moreover, with only 2 in midfield, the defensive cover is limited.

It is clear for me that SS has decided to go all out- some of that tightening up we've seen previously has been released in pursuit of goals and the win.

A risk, and one that should be paying off- chances just not converted.

2, or 3-1 up, and no one gives a toss about the defending.

There is still time to put it right though.

All fair that, time now for all that raft of forward resources we now have to show what they're about. No doubt at all we've been wasteful again, from minute one.

You're right about the vulnerability in the middle if we lose possession, a couple of times before the goal they could have been in with a better ball. Combination of both issues, full backs pushing on and light on cover in middle.

45 mins + now for our sackful of striking options to do something revolutionary, score 2 in an away game

I'd like to see Dempsey back on.

Im not sure id have Dempsey anywhere near this game. Not got the quality. It needs something a little more subtle and cuter to unlock them

Created 2 of our last 4 goals and along with Dalby and ACD the only player to score twice away.
