So forget the budget ot which division we are in , of the 8 we have had in on loan and the 3 "first teamers" we have out on loan . Which ones are you signing , keeping , giving another chance to ? You , as manager, can take all or none but why ?

Personally Id probably have them all back bar one as our squad feels a bit thin . Essays on my desk by the morning and no "dog ate my homework excuses @gonzo"

Get what we can for Schon.. Gomes is out of contract i think so i would release. If he is not, it would be another loan again and Warren keep and see how he goes on pre-season. Then either send him out to a league team or give him a chance in some early cup games.

The eight we have in i think Burstow will only improve. ACD no brainer if we can get another season out of him. Kenny not seen enough yet. Blackett-Taylor would be a yes if no fee involved Cissoko better value elsewhere same with Apter. Forss  has injury issues......Not sure who i am missing

I think it’s impossible to answer this without taking into account the division we are in and the short terms objectives we have next year, as promotion out of League 1 and consolidation in the Championship are so, so different.

But as a general comment, whilst I don’t think our loanees are currently Championship standard, young loanees like ACD, Kenny and maybe Burstow have the potential.

I would keep ACD. B-T and Burstow and get Kenny signed. I think he could be an asset  in a two up top with Dalby.

I like Forrs but not sure how much we would get out of him. Not seen enough of Apter, he’s in and out of games, and Cissoko is an odd ‘un. You never know which one you’re going to get.

The amazing thing is that CBT was available from a then struggling Derby. He has appeared 9 times, no goals, no assists by that time. He played 22 times in his first season ... 1 goal.

He signed there from Charlton in 2024 on a 3 year contract for £350k.

None of this makes sense.

The step up/down must be huge.

Maybe, but sometimes it just doesn't work at a given club for whatever reason.

Look at Morley; great for us early on, and got a long contract.

Just didn't seem to kick on- don't think Evatt helped in that regard- but still didn't manage to when SS came in.

Desperately wanted him to come good, but I also wonder if part of him stayed at Wycombe.

"Unfinished business" wasn't it?

I just think Morley is better suited to Wycombe's style, just like how CBT seems to fit us perfectly

It would seem that way, though what exactly is that style?

I've seen us press quickly at times, less so at others.

I don't think Evatt helped him by focusing too much on improving his defensive game.

It took something away from him.

Nevertheless, he still couldn’t quite make it stick, and at times looked disinterested.

There must be more too it- how you feel withing the club etc.

Morley and Evatt really didn't get on.

I'd love all the loans to stay bar Forss and probably Apter.

All depends on what division we are in.

One things for sure they all look proper invested. Kenny bang in the celebrations on that bench cam. So good to see.

Spirit in camp is clearly bang on.

I suspect Apter is just needing a goal.

Nevertheless, others knocking on the door now.

A question- has he been on the losing side yet?

Nope, none of our January signings have!

What I did see was that Morley took very good, very deep, to the back post corners. Something we constantly saw not happen whilst with us as we gave those duties elsewhere.

This is spot on. Sums up Morley to a T. Think EE’s input held him back here.

He looks far more comfortable at Wycombe,

Upon his return- scoring the last minute winner- I thought he'd settle back in, as he seemed rejuvenated.

Didn't last though, and slipped down the pecking order under SS.

Reckon he'd made his mind up, and maybe everything was in place for his transfer for some time.

Love that.

So mad football innit.

Look at the joy. Each person there with their own problems in life along grief and worries etc.

All gone for pure joy even just for a little while.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kenny play on the right instead of Apter and then play Burstow with Dalby.

Burstow has a lot to give but needs minutes on the pitch. And not in 15 minute lots. It worked on Saturday but we can’t rely on it every week.

Don't mind this at all.

Burstow deserving of a start now

I don't follow this logic.  He isn't a striker.  If Apter scores one, he might not score another this season, that's normal for wingers.

We didn't give Randall that sort of time, we judged him after about 3 games.

Same with Cissoko and Forss.  Not quite good enough, Cissoko got a goal at Exeter and nobody was saying he should start yesterday now that he had finally got a league goal.

Had forgotten all about Forss
