More likely given the logistics of negotiating an extra 1000 or so each, it's just being closed unless demand is needed Quote
jmjhb Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) 18k+ sold (including hospitality) 20k if you add away fans Edited 19 hours ago by jmjhb Quote
boltonboris Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Wow. Could be on for less than 20,000 here. Wonder why? Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I reckon we'll shift about 22k-23k in total by Saturday Quote

Touch of anti-climax with playing home first. Missing a good 1500 away fans. Folk are skint and keeping their powder dry incase we make it. All possible factors. Plus we are missing the shit loads of kids season tickets that don't get used a lot but add to weekly attendances Quote

It's obviously not put me off but it's a pretty wank kick off time tbf, hence it's quite rare across the pyramid bar the odd Prem game nowadays. It's got a lot of pissed people written all over it Quote
barrycowdrill Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago You can be pissed off but now’s not really the time to be voting with your feet. It’s not an ideal KO time but how many actually are these days? I find it baffling take up hasn’t been as Brisk. It’ll be the final chance for many to back them Quote

jmjhb Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago People would be moaning if it was a 12.30 kick off too because they'd still be hungover from the night before. Quote
Lostock Whites Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Personally really struggling to find the big issue with a 8pm kick off on a Saturday night. Okay its not 5 hours earlier, but it's the play offs. Just look at the 2nd leg, which is on a Thursday night. Under the lights on a Saturday night with the chance of having one foot in Wembley depending on the result. I saw a comment in the dark depths of Facebook (god forbid) and somebody's excuse was that Britain's Got Talent semis was on TV 😂 Quote

Exactly this for me. I'm still going, but it'll be a sober car journey, which will put a good few off. Hard to do late nights at an out of town stadium once the public transport stops Quote

It was 24.5k v Barnsley, and it was a 2nd leg with virtually guaranteed Wembley celebrations at the end of it. And just a guess, but if a couple of thousand can't make it because of pre-arranged nights out - birthday do's, tickets for concerts, weekend away booked, that's perfectly normal. 2 years ago we knew well in advance we'd be playing our 2nd leg at home, nobody was expecting it this time. Hull-Millwall is Friday and Chesterfield v Notts is Sunday at 6pm - both of those are worse. Boro v Southampton 12.30 Saturday not the best either for generating atmosphere as we know. Quote

BeeversLeftPeg Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I ordered 8 tickets in South Lower for weekend, got an email at 4pm saying that the tickets I bought were no longer available. Was on row E but moved back to row J, apparently something to do with putting 'extra safety netting' in place. Quote

Not sure pal, I presume the front rows of the upper will be to limit that issue but can't understand why the lower would be? I think they are just leaving that 1 half for now and will open it if needs be come Saturday. Quote
