CharnyArmyWanderer Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Although Nolan unfortunately got sent off, it was worth it to see his reaction to Mike Dean. That is pure passion n he was delighted with the result of both pennies. Nolan is a LEGEND, i wud have done the same......n still i wud have luvd to hear wot he sed to Dean. That could have dented his England prospects however, even tho i dnt believe he's good enough in the 1st place. Don't care if the ball was over or not, the official result was Blackburn 0-1 Bolton n thts all that matters. Best i've seen rovers play for a long time, Lets move onto the scummers on Saturday n make sure we make it 8 games unbeaten.

I dont want to see Bolton players intimidating/shouting at the ref. Its passion yes but there is a line and unfortunatly Nobby crossed it and has been duly banned! he has also jepordised the teams selection for Saturday. Something the 'Skipper shouldn't do. Nolan for England

Smiffs Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Personally I thought he was a c??ck His gob means we are without him for two key north west derbies
Traf Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Personally I thought he was a c??ck His gob means we are without him for two key north west derbies I find myself in agreement with the Dishonourable Member for Leyth. Nolan let himself and the rest of the team down. Passion is fine, but his actions immediately after getting a yellow were stupid at best.
Zozzy Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I agree with smiffs and traf, as captain he should be able to keep a cool head when all around are losing theirs
SatanGreavsie Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I agree with smiffs and traf, as captain he should be able to keep a cool head when all around are losing theirs Dear God - I find myself agreeing with Smiffs, Traf and Zozzy!! Wandererways' answer to the 3 Degrees

As a result of this, I then find myself in agreement with Satan, Traf, Zozzy and Smiffs. WWays answer to the Four Tops (Traf is the one on the far left for those of you who have never seen him )
no balls Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 (Traf is the one on the far left for those of you who have never seen him ) Has he had a hair transplant in the last week? P.S. I agree with the Four Tops too.

Guest as Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 You broing old f??ckers. He was showing a bit if passion & he got sent off. It's unfortunate, but I'd have done the same under the circumstances. The lad is only human. Anything else people wanna moan about? Nolan getting sent off? Fortune having ONE bad game? Sam for standing on the touchline for too long? Gary Speed for being too old? Diouf for being black? Gartside for being from Warrington?

exiledwhite2 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I almost suspect Speed and Nolan are told by Sam to give the refs pressure. Speed's status in the game means he gets cut more slack, and Nolan as captain does too - he should have gone before he did on sunday. I don't like that part of the game, I'd be a hypocrite to excuse our own. Especially when the decisions were fair anyway.
YATESY Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Make that I am having first pick of being in Miss Stevens!!
enzo gambaro Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Nolan generally speaks quite well to officials but he's gone over the top a few times this season. Frustrated that he's been bobbins, perhaps? He'll be even more frustrated if whoever comes in for him keeps their place....

richbwfc Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Kempo was right. The picture before was "S Club" when one of their members left. Kempo then posted a picture of when the whole original band was together. Therefore "S Club 7" I do not like them... Honest...

I have no problem with players kicking refs in the head but back chat is plain stupidity And what do you mean Diouf's black? Edited October 25, 2006 by Widnes Two Hats
magic legs Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Nolan was tripping on his own adrenaline - can't condone what he did but can't condemn him either. What I do find hard to understand is why didn't any of the other players grab hold of him and try and calm him down? Especially after he had been booked. Our squad isn't big enough to lose a player of his calibre for 1 game let alone 3.
