She was black, dirty and was covered in bruises. She was a Mini Metro.

I'd blocked my Mini Metro out of my mind, by christ they were shit.

Can't be right arsed with a list but by far the best car I ever had was a VW Jetta, B reg, in Whiteish.

It was the best because it kept me the fittest. The only car I ever owned that clocked up more miles being pushed than being driven.

Kinell, I had a Jetta as well, 1.2 Y reg. You had to rev the bollocks of it before going for 2nd. Shit car.

Sounds about right.

In winter, you had to leave the revs at over 4000 for at least a constant 5 minutes before even considering setting off, just to fill the carb.

I used to have a housebrick I left on the accelorater whoilst I went in the house and finished breakfast. Funnily enough, the thought of someone stealing it never really crossed my mind.

The shittest car I have ever driven was a 1.2 Fiat Bravo hire car nearly 10 years ago. It only had about 100 miles on the clock so was pretty much brand new and the biggest pile of dog turd I have ever driven. It had the worst suspension I have ever experienced, it wallowed over motorway lumps and bumps but crashed over the smallest pothole and leaned in corners with so much understeer it was bordering on unsafe. I am convinced it must have had some damage on-route to the car hire place bacause no modern car could possibly be so bad, although that wouldn't excuse the fitting a 1.2 in a medium sized hatchback.

Fuck me thats one way to warm a car up! :D

Let me guess, it didn't survive much longer after the winter?

I eventually pushed it into SmithKnight Fay and virtually begged them take it off me in exchange for a Golf.

I think I kissed every one of the direct injection nozzles on my new car that night.

The two shittest cars I've driven are b reg citro?n bx and f reg proton somethingorother.

They were both courtesy cars whilst my 205 gti was in the garage with 'issues'

it wouldn't have been to bad if I weren't 19 at the time, turning up at college looking a right twat.

Funnily enough, neither car helped me pull any clunge.

Ford Orion (Maroon) - ran it into ground, engine blew up when it was being towed away

Ford Fiesta (White) - sold it for ?100 - handbrake was broke for over a year!!!

Mk 1 Fiesta Finesse (White)

Mk 2 Fiesta Sport (White)

Mk 3 Fiesta Ghia (Red - thought it wouldn't show the dirt as much as a white one)

Renault Clio mk1 16V (Burgundy(ish) - to show even less dirt than a red or white one) - Engine seized at 72k miles but it was a company car so I didn't care.

Peugeot 106Gti (Blue)

Peugeot 206Gti (Blue)

Toyota Corolla (Blue)

Focus Ghia (Blue, auto - fine for driving in traffic, shite in snow)

Next car soon - prob another Focus or Fiesta. Stuck with blue ones as they seem to show the dirt least of all.
