watching the build up to the champions league final in munich, showing footage of that amazing ground.....

its hard to believe we were there a few years ago,and getting a result to boot!

that was probably my best trip out of em all,did 3 nights and what 3 nights they were!

two of i ended up some back street nightclub till 6am...

got kicked out of knocking shop because we just wanted a pint...

went to a concentration camp...

and bit a blokes arm to stop him strangling me as he was being twatted and launched out of that irish bar by a pub full of whites!

what a trip....

anymore memories folks?

was this your best euro adventure?

We got booted out of the Hofbrahaus on match day for singing Wanderers songs so moved over to the Augusteiner keller down the Marianplatz, absolutely rammed with whites in full voice. Sank many a stein in there pre-match, was proper bladdered by the time it came to going to the match.

The match itself was a bit of a blur, we were 1-0 up when I got in but went balistic when we made it 2-2. Fantastic atmosphere inside the ground.

As for away days in Europe, Marseille was my fav. We went down on the Eurostar and TGV, a great way to go into Europe. These days are sorely missed

belgrade was fun, cold and odd but tip top

In the main bierkellar the night before the game, every time the oompah band started up, whites' fans burst into song & drowned them out.

It was all good-natured, but after a few times the band got pissed off, threw their instruments down, jumped up & stormed off.....and they were all wearing leather shorts. I don't think you can make a dignified exit wearing leather shorts. Very funny.

Been back to Munich since for the Oktoberfest...

the city is crazy then...loads of young american backpackers there as well...and all the young fraulines in the traditional dress...

Walking in the Haufbrauhaus and the others on Marienplatz brought back fond memories...

Would recommend anyone to do the Oktoberfest..

munich is a top city!

But for me Sunny beach will always be the trip...all the faces...great result...first euro trip...

Best: Got to be Macedonia.

Munich was alright, but the city's too spread out for meeting up with folk. Plus I think it's the only trip I didn't proper balloon on.

Munich was the only away we managed due to finances but made me wish we'd been able to get to more.

Travelled via Salzburg from Stanstead, sports bar across from the train station waiting for the train to Munich, fantastic mixed grill followed by Hofbrauhaus on the first night, left when the police arrived due to having 14 yr old with us, hot honey wine at viktualienmarket in the morning, taking over some Italian restaurant/bar behind Marienplatz before the game when we couldn't get in HB, the stadium and game itself, some lads being told the bar was closed just as we passed 12 pints over to our table in the first bar after the game, McDonalds then on to Der Pschorr about 3:00am where we met GMP, son nearly getting arrested for vagrancy on the train back to Salzburg, looong drive home from Stanstead.

Bugger, the site that had my photos online has shut down!

Munich was indeed a great trip, the stadium, the hosts, the result - all made for a belting do.

For me though the best Euro memory is that square in Guimaraes packed with whites fans, flags everywhere, singing our hearts out - i'm sure i got a speck of dust in my eye after a dozen superbocks.

my favourite was definitly Sunny Beach - I think just because it was the first. I also enjoyed Madrid as well, the highlight was me and Squidgy being twatted by wankerish Spanish police after the game

Munich best away for me. Sneaking into the bierkellar with Birch through the fire exit at the back street. The que out the front was mental.

Went back last year for Oktoberfest, love the place. Great beer, stunning women, great food. Bloody expensive though.

First was Guimaraes but was bladdered so deffo overdid it that day. Marseille was a three day trip - flew into Nice, stayed over to watch the Chelsea v Barca ECL tie at the Bridge then drove down to Marseille early doors to hit the square, and stopped over after the game at the Velodrome. Munich was Weds to Sat, went back to Alianz for stadium tour the day after our game and there were still some BWFC colours in away section. The fucker was all in German though (WTF?) That was my fave Euro by a mile. Madrid, we had Tony Kelly in tow for another three-dayer and it was fucking great cos he never had to put his hand in his pocket all of the stay with Whites buying him his preferred tipple - Coke!
