DazBob Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Come on Daz, think on... Soz, I thought I'd be okay saying that..? I, of course, would never encourage it nor would I give the name of any suggested sites. Cubs' honour. Quote
QFPants Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 is this on sky at all anytime+ by any chance Series 1 & 2 have been on before, nobody watched it though so they never bothered with the rest. First 2 series were very good, since series 3 it's been excellent, not seen any of the latest series yet though Quote
Traf Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Dunno, but I can tell you series 1-4 are on certain torrent sites in .avi format What does that mean to technophobes like me? Does that mean you'll put them all on discs for me, if I part with money? Quote
DazBob Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 Of course not as that would be illegal. Quote
Guest Frandsen08 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 The last one was a belter ! Thought you would like it! Quote
bgoefc Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Was listening to Durham on Talksport whilst on a walk in a blizzard last December, they were going on about the best DVD box set series in recent years and he was raving about this. Now this guys opinion on sport is pretty shit but for some reason when I got in I read a couple of reviews on line which were good and downloaded series 1-3. I watched the first couple of episodes and then told the wife that this was pretty well made and a cracking storyline. We rewatched those two episodes and then we watched one episode every night thereafter. Got series 4 in January and was amazed how such a long series could keep on delivering with what was essentially the same basic plot. When i watched the last episode of series 4 I was pretty sad that it had come to an end so I went online to get the lowdown on the actors and script writers and was made up to find out they were making one last series. The writing acting and production is probably the best TV I've ever seen and the two lead characters bounce off each other.. Can't wait until I can download series 5 so I've tried to avoid parts of this thread. Not to be missed Quote

Sons has finished for now, 5 series 13 episodes each. Entourage has also finished, 8 series. only about 25 miniutes an episode though. Quote
bolty58 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 The Killing is good. Can't wait for more Breaking Bad. Loved Homeland too. Finished em all. If it wasn't for you lot, I'd still be boycotting American 'drivel' and would have missed possibly the greatest two TV series' ever (The Wire and Breaking Bad). Compulsive viewing. Quote
Casino Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 i like the wire not seen 5 yet but 2 was easily my favourite as that was the only one where i got more than 50% of the dialogue Quote
jayjayoghani Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Yeah due to all you cuntshovellers, I'm watching Breaking Bad now. Midway through Series 2. Bryan Cranston is superb. Some of the looks he gives say a thousand words. Tried to get my Dad on it too. He came back to me with "What the Fuck is this?" after the melting the drug dealer scene early on Quote

As anti Union as I am, I found myself on the side of Frank and the boys. Well out of my comfort zone. Quote

Spider Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I've got one of those Morphy Richards makers at the back of the cupboard. It's just easier to buy a loaf really. Apparently, you're not to open the oven door half way through. Quote
