All things told some good performances, Andrews looks a shrewd signing, Chungy getting better, Knight hit and miss, Mears utter dogshit, Ricketts in wrong position, Mills well less said the better, an

Any sort of win - scrappy, undeserved, lucky - I don't give a fcuk. A second win in a week could change the whole mood and season.

I agree - most teams in the championship are of similar limited ability - a couple of albeit lucky results builds confidence which builds momentum. Dont give a fuck how results are achieved at present and if can get Holden back?

1-3, I can see a total disaster this game, the wheels well and truly come off after our twenty mins of football from Tuesday. Sordell for us, Johnny Metgod, John McGovern and Larry Lloyd for them.

What a load of rubbish!!!

McGovern is injured :)

4-3, Collymore and Birtles for them.

4-3, Collymore and Birtles for them.

For the oldies.

What about when we beat them 6-1 in ?1962.

Every forward scored, but it was an absolute Freddie Hill (aka God) master class.

I can't remember us playing Forest until the league cup games in... 1990? Roy Keane and Stuart Pierce were playing for them. And Des Walker? They fucking annihilated us. Now if we won 6-1 people would be booing as we let one in.

yeah it was about then or just after 1990. bolton fans were singing "Pearce lost the world cup"

Magic, those League Cup games.

1985 and 1991, lost both first legs 4-0 at Forest.

Less than 10,000 on for the two home legs combined.

From the official Forest site.

"This, on paper, is The Reds’ toughest test of the season so far.

Having beaten Bristol City and dominated Huddersfield on their own patch, however, Sean O’Driscoll’s men will be confident of taking all three points from The Reebok.

They face a recently-relegated Bolton side who suffered opening day defeat to rivals Burnley before bouncing back with a 2-0 home win over Derby on Tuesday."

Now then Owen, get this printed off and on plastered on the changing room walls

In the 85 game they had a few on the Paddock.

Don't remember the first one, didn't go much to midweek games when I was a yoof.

However, I'm sure you mean 20,000+ on for both games?

after losing the first one 4-0 i was sure with an early goal at burnden we could be back in it

bloody hell,a real blast from the past remembering that. they had a coachload waiting near mcdonalds at last orders and a right royal set-to ensued

Pick up as we left off. Keep it tight for first 10 minutes, see how the long ball tactic goes. Be nice if we could nick one early and then get the passing game going after that

Give lee and Mears a 'rest' seeing as they've come back from broken legs and it's the 3rd game in 6 days. No point if we've got a half decent squad and we go out each match with knackerd players.

Coyle could probably justify chucking in afobe for sordell with same reason but need to get them clicking sooner rather than later.

3-2 bolton eagles.sordell.chung

gonna stick with my 4-3-2 formation

Cracking game

1-0 forest

1-1

2-1 bwfc

2-2

3-2 chung late winner

Playing with 10 men would be a bit cocky!

2-1. Sordell and Eagles screamer from range. Ian Woan for them.

2-2

Gary Megson with a brace for each team

Not decided on viewing from a stand, home or the pub yet...

2-1 chungy and afobe for us

Jason lee for them
