ex_midlandwhite Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Would ANY of our other players actually even created the opportunity? Yes the pass was poor. But I'm not stood in line, so maybe the defender read the pass or maybe pratley was positioned the best? Eagles, Petrov and Lee potentially. Granted our other centre mids would struggle to get there in the first place. Quote
HomerJay Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 No way would petrov have battled for that ball Or eagles Lee possibly yes. In fact I actually think lee would have picked the pass too. Quote
Zico Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 If the fella who sits next to me reads this then he needs to realise the difference between Afobe and Sordell Do you sit at the back of the NSL? If not, there's more than one bloke who can't tell the difference either Quote
superkev Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I expect Lee to play midweek. I'm presuming it was the travelling that allowed him to be rested. Quote
Arrested development Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 The fact that we are not playing particularly well yet still having decent home form is the main positive for me. Get the team settled, get some confidence and start picking some points up away from home and we'll be up at the right end of the table. Quote

In fact I actually think lee would have picked the pass too. I actually think potentially Petrov/Eagles might have got away without having to battle as probably a yard quicker Anyway, that's by the by, creating chances is what Mark Davies is supposed to do well. I don't mind the lad and enjoy it when he is playing well (and thought he was better today) I do think he gets an easy ride compared to others though. Anyhow, roll on Tuesday, hopefully same defensive line and lets scrape another win Quote
Didledee Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 1st time in years I've listened to a Bolton home league game on the radio, we sounded dreadful in the 2nd half and it seemed like it was all Watford. We'll not get promoted with Petrov and Lee on the bench. Sordell probably won't play again. Quote
Didledee Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) Shit fan, haven't been since Derby, not missed it, they piss me off too much to waste money on going, Relegation fucked me off and the start we've had as been annoying to the point that today's win only raised a smile. Roll on next August. Edited September 15, 2012 by Didledee Quote

Winchester White Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Id try casters or maybe a bit of sweetcorn next time dids.. Quote
Didledee Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Why? you're not expecting Premiership football are you? With these lot probably not. No value for money for me, few home wins last season, relegation and constantly being pissed off with 'em, I'm glad I never renewed, been to Barca B and Derby, watched Forest on the tele and today had the radio and reports from on Iain Dowie, I didn't mind it at all, was nervous in my own company and never once thought I want to be there. Good job that the rest of us don't think the same way, no doubt when we turn the corner you will be back profess your undying loyalty for the club. Quote
Didledee Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Id try casters or maybe a bit of sweetcorn next time dids.. For what? I'm being honest, I get all the through thick and thin thing, but for me I hated last season and going this season every game will make me even more distant, I chose to choose my games, I'll go again some game and being honest will probably start getting back to more support when we see changes and far better results/performances that warrant money being spent. HomerJay Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Value for money??? If we go down again and spend the foreseeable future, will you ever go again? How long until you stop even listening on the radio? How long before you stop looking out for results? How long until you move in to another established premier league team? Pathetic Quote
HomerJay Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 You get the thick and thin? Do you? Really? I sincerely doubt that. I can barely remember the reasonably shit days and must have 10 years on you Quote
JB White Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Sorry if this has been brought up before, what has petrov done? Towards back end of last season best player by a county mile, thought we needed him in second half today badly Quote

How long until you stop even listening on the radio? How long before you stop looking out for results? How long until you move in to another established premier league team? Pathetic okay Homer, that's your opinion, I'd have been there against my own will, I'm not interested in being Bolton's no.1 fan, infact if I did go today and saw Lee was on the bench, I'd have been a little gutted even before the match kicked off, he's not at his best, but he's still my fave player. I say value for money because Bolton are not giving anything in return for what fans pay, well in my eyes, relegation and season ticket prices are the same? why? money isn't an issue btw, I just don't want to get pissed off and want the feeling of I want to go home, I've not enjoyed Bolton for a long enough period of time, I still care, but not enough to go every home anymore. Quote
HomerJay Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 On gonzos advice, I'm not reading that. Quote
Didledee Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) Well don't read it, if you think I'm fishing and actually did go to the game, in our next home game, I'll post on here during the game (even though you can using a phone) I didn't go, I'm sure Bolton really missed me, I wouldn't, just a fan staring into space, shaking his head at what he's watching, Edited September 15, 2012 by Didledee Quote
birch-chorley Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 We should have been done and dusted early doors against one of the worst teams I have seen us play in the league for years and years Instead Chris Eagles is taking the ball in the corner flag with 3 minutes to go Not a problem with that by the way but we should be beating these teams easy if we want to go up not hanging on to a win for dear life, Derby gave them a good stuffing and they are not up to much. I thought Watford would equalise late on. Quote
