Guest Blixa
Term, brain cell, it's half of something. The deal is done and there's no going back. People need to deal with it - just as the club will have to deal with the inevitable bad news stories that will come out during the next couple of years. "BWFC took my house!" "BWFC forced me to the food bank!" Etc etc.
no balls
We need to get something dead clever like the green & gold campaign. That looked really effective, especially sported with a replica shirt.

Those of us who've had enough of this shit - and there are many thousands going off the response I've seen so far - need to get organised. Make it clear we're not having it - it's our club and Gartside and his cronies can get to fuck. The money he and they have taken out of BWFC over the past 5 years - whilst simultaneously running up a debt of 130 million - could pay for this seedy little business deal 50 times over. The likes of Allan Duckworth, for example, who every year saw fit to pay himself half a million quick quid, whilst presiding over a failing 'business'. Where's he now? And to add insult to considerable injury, the same parasites want us - the very people who've kept the club going through its darkest hours - to find the money for Nat's statue. Something which should have been erected when the great man was alive to see it... and which a month of Zat Knight's wages would pay for anyway! Wake up! COYW! How about FC Wanderers - Get Anewman in goal and offer Bury £50 a week to play on their ground We would shoot up them divisions quicker than the FC Scum team Edited May 29, 2013 by RUREADY2ROLL

If they rejected the deal and the thousands of bellends on Facebook got wind of it they would protest that the club should have got the best deal. The one thing that this whole episode has confirmed is I am really starting to struggle to wan to be associated with a club who is followed by such fucking idiots. So the fucking idiots are the fans who pay their hard earned over a lifetime and raise some legitimate questions, rather than those who got us into this 130 million pound mess in the first place. Good to know. As for Nat not wanting a statue, yeah, you're right, he never came out and backed the idea - that wasn't his style. Neither was it Tom Finney's, or Stanley Matthews', or countless others...but their clubs managed to find a fitting way of honouring their legends. We supposedly named a stand after him - except you'd never notice...all ticketing etc says East stand. If you want to be run by a bunch of cunts (and yes Eddie Davies does own it - but only because it's something worth owning ie something which thousands of people feel passionately about and cough up hundreds of pounds a year for the privilege) then fine... but plenty more don't want to be. Pie Eater
Yes, we do need to 'deal with it'. The contract is signed, the club can't get out of it without incurring some (I would imagine quite substantial) penalty. I'm not happy with the company or the amount we're getting but it's irrelevant now as there's no chance in hell of it being undone. The issue for me is that the fans have known about this for a good while before it was signed/announced and a lot made it perfectly clear they were unhappy with it but the club went ahead and signed it anyway (after a week delay to see whether QQ were implicated in that bloke setting himself on fire)
Traf
(after a week delay to see whether QQ were implicated in that bloke setting himself on fire) You don't know whether this is true or not. You can only be subjective when you deal with facts. Opinion and hearsay aren't the grounds for legitimate complaint.

Opinion and hearsay aren't the grounds for legitimate complaint. That wasn't my complaint, it was an aside The club must have known damn well this would divide the fans and get us all sorts of unwanted media attention as payday loan companies are the current bogeyman. WIth that in mind, it's a spectacularly bad decision. Demanding it be undone is pointless now but it gives an indication of how shortsighted those running the club can be
