SnoopJohnnyJohn
Great find Jay On a side note, do any "modern day footballers" have a personality (apart from Gazza in that clip). Lineker could not sound less enthusiastic if he tried!
madthatter
Never seen that before, great shout, cheers Ha,thought that about Lineker too, I see his presenting style has moved on leaps and bounds . . . The respect shown to Nat may also have caused a bit of dust to get stuck in my eye

Tel
Good find. My eldest lad is in that, he was playing for lads club at the time. He is the one with his hands on his hips and he really enjoyed that day.

Naytch
Found that on YouTube a while back, great watch! And really good idea to post it on here, so everyone can see it. What a fucking legend Nat is, one of a kind. How much would he be worth if he was in his prime playing right now? Any ideas??

Mounts Kipper
The scene with Lawton was great TV 2 legends mutual respect its hard though seeing big strong athletes in old age, prefer to remember them in there pomp. Wonder why a Farnworth lad like Lawton never played for BWFC. Edited August 1, 2013 by Mounts Kipper

Juan.Kerr
Just watched this (part 2). I'd forgotten just how close we came to going out of business. I knew Nat was the face of Lifeline, but didn't reaise that our continued existence is mostly down to one man. That's a great piece of local social history is that. I doff my hypothetical cap to the great man. And Anewman, aforementioned miserable git. (No offence).
