Rembrandt
End of October - for me we need to see signs of recovery by then, in performances & results. Still early days this season, but this form can't be allowed to go on until Christmas. Re earlier points on here : Doesn't matter if a player is a big earner or not; if he's poor and/or got bad attitude, put him in the stiffs. Round pegs in round holes - stop trying to be a 'clever' manager and get back to basics. Get some consistency in team selections & tactics; stop tinkering every match. And if he's livid after today's match, he should have been equally livid some time ago; and kicked arse; as others have said, these problems have existed in the squad for quite some time. And, for me, DF and his staff HAVE to be able to get a bunch of (mainly) above-average players for this division playing football as a TEAM, with a PLAN, including (but not limited to) ALL deadball situatons. And if they can't do that, they're in the wrong job. Edited August 31, 2013 by Rembrandt
Moderators Casino Posted August 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2013 (edited) 'players can be at a club too long' knight, wheater, ngog, mears, pratley and lee? both knight and lee failed to commit to challenges and cost us 2 goals pratley (i think) gave the ball away for the first as for the game, first half was dogshite beginning of the second we had 'em on the ropes - typical ngog failing to finish after doing the hard work by the end it was a shambles, playing 4-1-5 Edited August 31, 2013 by Casino

Mounts Kipper
Hes not been backed by the board...he doesnt deserve to go. I'm sure his budget is in the top 6 spenders it's not all about money he has to instill desire, passion and team spirit all these are badly lacking at the moment. Ngog was on his arse. Lad could barely stand up. There is plenty to say is wrong but don't start making nonsense up about poor management taking a player off who was clearly dead on his feet. Leaving him on would have been ridiculous.
snowball
No ones suggesting Blackpool and Burnley's board have backed them, they sold their best players yet they can play like a team, why can't we? I know it's early days but we are bottom of the league and deservedly so.

He has the power to instill desire, passion and team spirit but I think they need to be his players. Like he has said already, the dead wood have to go. Unfortunately it is half the squad and it cant be done overnight, or a couple of transfer windows. We really really cant expect overnight results with the shite we have in defence. Eavesy
Ngog was holding his left hamstring when he indicated he wanted to come off. Moritz actually made sense at the time. Get some link up. Plus I'd be pretty disappointed he couldn't muster 25 minutes. He did about the same as eagles. Basically eff all

I know it's early days but we are bottom of the league and deservedly so. Their squads are not full of ex premiership players on big wages. That's the difference. Half our players probably see us as them being on the way down in their careers and a last pay packet. If you've gone to Burnley or Blackpool you are looking to get your career going. He's a pro footballer have a breather then get back into it if he can't do more than 1 hour at his age get shut, bottom line is he's not committed. It is frustrating that he tires but he was our only threat today. I think we would get rid if anyone would pay for him and take his wages on. But then would we get better? No easy or quick answers here I'm afraid!
Traf
Ngog probably twisted his hamstring trying to beat his man 3 times before failing to score. Early shot or a pass was the right answer, David.
anewman
He needs to see that knight is a liability, spearing and medo are almost like Gerard nd lamp are in terms of cant play together, Tyrone mears can just fuck off the shit cunt, ball went to him first half he missed it and gave up, second half got nudged off the ball too easy then fell as he tried to get up, purely fuckin awful The are no leaders, no direction, no confidence, no team spirit, they don't want the ball, no communication etc, there is a big fuckin problem nd I can see relegation again
