embankment Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Doubt they provide a stadium ( well tin shed with a restricted view ) to front door service. But they may chuck you out at Botany Bay if you ask nicely. And remember to tell them you are making your own way to Blackpool when you book. Quote
embankment Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Have used club coaches as a way to get home after local matches quite often. Means we can have a good drink and day out before the game and no hassel ,getting back to civilisation late at night. Quote
smeghead83 Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 I used to use the club coaches a lot a decade ago. Some drivers at the time weren't even prepared to let us off near Bolton town centre even though they were driving past, ie topp way. Or sometimes we'd ask if they could drive thru town but they'd refuse and just go m61 staright to the Reebok from the m60. Too many dick measurers back in the day. Quote

Coming back from Walsall the other year, the M61 was shut so they came back via the East Lancs and Leigh bypass, going within about 50 yards of my house but they wouldn't let me off until the Reebok. Bastards. Quote
Fengshui Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Just booked off Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday, no ticket though. Will it be pay on day? Quote

Was that back when Big E was chief flid on them? I'd rather go to the match by walking in wellies filled with elephant spunk Quote
Arrested development Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 In + 1 for this. Can't turn down a midweek day on the piss. Quote
smeghead83 Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 I can't say I know big E, but we used to have Dave Higson doing the stewarding on the coaches, he was a good lad mind. "Anyone for a rub off?" haha. Quote
Ratwhite Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Is it pay on he day, or are they awaiting Saturdays result? Quote

EyesRight Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I'm in they need us now more than ever, results and recent performances should not decide whether you go and support your club against a local "rival" I know they don't deserve us but this shit is for life. Quote
