DazBob
Did he take it on the chin when he was informed? Joking aside, it's an awful illness. Really feel for his family.

superkev
My father in law had Alzheimer's. terrible illness. He used to think my wife was his mother and didn't have a clue who my kids were. So upsetting when we used to go and visit. He died a couple of months ago and to be honest he's probably in a better place.

Whites man
Jimmy Hill, John Motson, Barry Davis all part of my growing up... really sad to hear were losing one like this In a thinly veiled "I've met John Motson" post I've met John Motson. Good bloke, would fit in on here, think Malcolm but liking a beer and a bet.
Breightmet Boy
Dementia is horrible , it's took it's toll on my owd fella. From being fit as a fiddle three years ago and still driving at 84 he now is wheel chair bound and has everything done for him at the home he's in. I'd rather have my mams osteoarthritis than dad's dementia, like she says "At least I've got my marbles"
