Guest bwfcdan Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 (edited) Away figure wise, we've done well this year. More than a lot of top half sides Edited May 8, 2014 by bwfcdan Quote
COYW Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I'd love to see another thesis from that Blackburn fan who reckoned that they were the biggest club in the area based on those stats. Quote
jules_darby Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Surprised that QPR and Boro's away figures were as much as they are TBH Quote

Zico Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 QPR are one of the smallest clubs in the Championship, failure to go back up will see crowds subside back to how they once were. they are a funny one, they are well supported in terms of lots of people in the area say they do, but none of them go - but when the occasion calls for it they can take numbers, remember them taking 6/7,000 to Sheff Weds once wasn't surprised by the fact Leeds attracted amongst the fewest away fans because of their prices, whilst Wigan the most with Doncaster and Barnsley not far behind, due to cheap tickets Quote
CAPSLOCKCOLIN Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Surprised that QPR and Boro's away figures were as much as they are TBH Me too, and Huddersfield for that matter. Then again, Boro & Huddersfield both had the sheer amount of Yorkshire aways on their side as an advantage to prop up attendances. Our away attendances would've beaten Birmingham had we not been on Sky at their place, not to mention what was on stake on the last day. TNT CLC Quote

I'm not sure that you can call them a small club. They've got one of the smallest grounds in the Championship but it's been practically full all season based on those figures. Quote
MalcolmW Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I never thought i would be saying this but Come on Wiggin It is bad enough having them finish above us. It is quite another to have them in a higher division. Again. I'd much rather risk QPR going up than give Wigan an opportunity. Quote

MalcolmW Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 QPR have had more home grounds than any other league club. Quote
mannyroad58 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 If they beat QPR they only go to wembley they're not in the prem yet so QPR are in the shit Wiggin get dicked at wembley and are still down with us, it's a win win situation + i fucking hate that cunt Redknapp Quote

Con Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 IIRC Bury had one of the best home/away ratios last season. Mainly due to the fact that no fucker goes to Gigg lane. Quote
Traf Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 1. fair play to Donny's away support 2. all Coventry games are away games. Quote

gonzo Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Aye,weirdly I've been in the Qpr end twice at Blackpool and spent the day with some of their older lot. (Smiffs knows who I'm on about) I was very surprised how boisterous they were. They were going crackers in and around the Old Bridge Inn singing this daft song with loads only R's in it. One of em was a night game and they kicked off in Brannigans. Never seen fuck all of em at any Bolton game mind. Quote
paulhanley Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 That's a decent home and away average for us. I really hope we can keep this up for next season. Quote

Whoever wins this semi has a real chance. So I simply don't want to risk Wigan gaining promotion. Quote
