freds dad Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Guy said to me a while ago, if they are suicide bombers - why not just detonate in the check-in queue, or the queue for security. Certainly makes me think when I am checking in now. Didn't they try something similar in Glasgow? Quote
no balls Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Didn't they try something similar in Glasgow? I thought they drove to the front door & tried detonating a car bomb Quote
Walkden26 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Guy said to me a while ago, if they are suicide bombers - why not just detonate in the check-in queue, or the queue for security. Certainly makes me think when I am checking in now. Isn't it about more than killing for terrorists? I thought they would target planes/tube/buses/shopping centres to scare people about going back to these places. If they are going to do it at a check in desk they may as well do it anywhere. Blowing a plane up is going to disrupt our way of life in their minds. As for added security I am all for it. Everyone is now aware your phone needs battery life at the airport so don't hammer fuckbook and tinder and your battery should survive until you get on a plane. Quote
Spider Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 The Trafford centre would be an absolute dream for Akhbar o Suicidal. I'm amazed they haven't had a go at it already. Quote

Sweep Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 The Trafford centre would be an absolute dream for Akhbar o Suicidal. I'm amazed they haven't had a go at it already. I've always thought the same every time I've been over the QE2 bridge on the M25 (or through the tunnels coming the other way) - taking that bridge out would kill thousands and cause immense problems for months, maybe even years - surely easier than trying to blow up a plane Quote

More than enough reasons to avoid the Trafford plebcentre Quote

no balls Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 My stuff and me went through a scanner on an internal flight in Indonesia the other week. Id forgotten about a bottle of water in my hand luggage & that was taken off me so it's clearly not all the FE. Quote

My shower gel fell out of the plastic bag and was in my hand luggage coming back from Spain tuther week. I only realised when I unpacked so it wasn't picked up on the scanners. Quote

Maggie Tate Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 We should do profiling. It's obviously the only method which both works and does not inconvenience people who clearly are not terrorists. The Israelis do it to superb effect. Quote
only1swanny Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 they wont profile people though for fear of someone pulling the racist card.. Quote

kent_white Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I've always thought the Tour De France would be a prime target. Lots of cameras, huge crowds, worldwide coverage. They need to start thinking outside the box! Quote
