Cheese Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Most deluded fans in the world. And Gerrard is the most over-rated player ever. He would've been shown up if he'd played for a bigger club. Quote
RoadRunnerFan Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 What Jules said above. He's one of the best of modern times. Hate this post 93 'show us your medals' modern snobbery that looks down its nose at non title winners. I'll see your title winners Ian Pearce, Mel Sterland and David May and raise you a non title winning Lofthouse, Matthews and Finney. Quote
pato Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Was it me or was Aldridge pissed when they interviewed him Quote
Carlos Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Slippy and his mates should have won the league in 2009, Torres and Xavi Alonso. But they bottled it. Quote
DaveTheRave Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Didn't he stamp on Nolan one year at the reebok? Quote
Traf Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is working on a joint autobiography with Jamie Carragher about their time at Anfield - but they've no title yet ! Quote

Someone was obviously on a heavy session last night. Quote
bgoefc Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I think a lot of people are forgetting how good He actually was at his peak. He was fucking phenomenal. To think Folk today wank over Yaya Toure. Toure >>>>> than gerrard. Quote
anewman Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Seriously though Gerrard has dragged them through turmoil, they are a one man team, I remember that season they couldn't buy a win was near the bottom then somehow gerrard turned them round, if he hadn't been there they would of been near the bottom all season Quote
gonzo Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Toure >>>>> than gerrard. All about opinions but not for me. Never in million years. Gerrard was there when it counted. Champions league finals, qualifiers, cup finals etc etc. when Liverpool needed him he was there at every pivotal moment of the past decade. Toure has had couple of decent seasons in this country and scored in a cup final v Wigan. Quote
Carlos Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Aye, Toure never won anything with Barcelona. Quote
gonzo Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Aye, Toure never won anything with Barcelona. Not denying he's a great player. Not for one minute. He's just come nowhere near to turning the amount of big game performances gerrard has IMO. Quote
Pablo Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 He pretty much single handidlllydlly won them a trophy none of us will ever see our teams lift. The cunt Quote
MickyD Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Are sky sports news going to report this every single day between now and the end of season? Quote
freds dad Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Are sky sports news going to report this every single day between now and the end of season? Probably. It would be a shame if he had a season ending injury next week. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Probably. It would be a shame if he had a season ending injury next week. Liverpool's season has finished already. Quote

I know where your coming from Gonzo but Barca or Madrid never broke the bank for him as they do for other greats. For me he needed to do it on a larger stage on regular basis. Ordinary for England. Guest Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I see Liverpool are playing a weakened team Quote
Cheese Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I see Liverpool are playing a weakened team They've been playing a weakened team all season haven't they? Quote
freds dad Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 How may mentions will Gerrards retirement get a mention during tonight's game? It's already to to 3 including his 35th birthday being on cup final day. Quote
