MickyD Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I say this but when I worked in liverpool and we beat united about thirty liverpool fans sent the backpage of Nolan celebrating in the next days paper to the one united fan in work through the internal post so they're not all bad. During the day we beat Everton in fa cup, Mrs D and I had an afternoon in Liverpool. Called in a sports shop and was surprised to see a rail full of wanderers shirts. I asked the sales lad what the craic was and he explained that when we beat Liverpool the season before all the Everton supporters bought Bolton shirts. As soon as the draw had been made the store got a stock in just in case we beat Everton. The rest is history.

davidjack Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 The woman I spoke to in the ticket office at midday said closer to 4k - quoted very precise figures (out of 5655 tickets just over 1700 left she said), so don't know why the twitter feed was later quoting 3k. If, as some were saying yesterday, Ticketmaster in their usual wisdom (why do we still employ those useless fuckers btw?) were giving out any number of tickets to whoever phoned up, do they actually know how many they've sold? Fuck knows.

Ticket office just rung him to say because of demand he can only have 4 even though they took his money and sent out confirmation. Cock up!! Looks like me wife and kids won't now be going. Expect a phone call all those who did the same.
