Jack Daniels Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Alright fellas, Just registered on the site, although I've been reading it for ages. Live in Kearsley (border country with the DMB's) I have a season ticket in the West stand lower with my son, pretty much on the half way line, and we get to some away games as well, work permitting. Anyway, I've really enjoyed reading the posts and banter on here, and if you'll let me join in, I'd appreciate it. Cheers. Quote
freds dad Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Anyone from Kearsley is alright by me. Welcome onboard. Quote

freds dad Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Kearsley Queer, I bet you sup in the cricket club with wayne Cramp, Whitewhiz and Zurichwhite. Nothing wrong with KCC. It used to be a great place to drink on a Sunday when the pubs closed at 2pm Quote
Jack Daniels Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 Thanks for the welcome lads, apart from being labelled a queer, I appreciate it. I'm not your average WSL type, I actually try to make a bit of noise at the game. Quote

bolty58 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 What's that one near the end of Springfield Road on Manny/Bolton road? Moss Rose? Think the old man used to sup there. Quote
freds dad Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 What's that one near the end of Springfield Road on Manny/Bolton road? Moss Rose? Think the old man used to sup there. Antelope was at the bottom of Springfield Rd and Moss Rose was across the road from it. The Antelope closed about 12 months ago and is being rebuilt into I think offices. The Moss Rose closed at the beginning of January but a new tenant takes over soon. The White Horse still seems to be open. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Wilsons-as good a pie as anywhere. Worth a trip to Kearsley any time Quote
Whizz Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Unfortunately, the cricket club is the only place to sup at moment. A 'walk down the road' is now consisting of farnworth and hence bolton. It's killing me. Quote

We do try to generate a bit of atmosphere but the stewards frown upon it. Quote
