darrener Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Blackburn beat stoke 4-1 today in the 5th round of the fa cup. Stoke were given 4200 tickets which they sold out in quick time. They wanted more tickets but Blackburn police refused. Apparently stoke fans were all over the ground and kicked off big stile with stewards and police when the game was lost. The attendance : 13900 fuckin pathetic turn out from wovers Quote
bolton va va Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Does Blackburn winning mean our game there will now be rearranged to a night match ? Quote

darrener Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 Darwen end holds just over 7k I think police wouldn't let them anymore than 4200 unless they brought the kick off forward Quote
Carlos Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 The FSF chipped in and now look fucking stupid. Quote
fishbulb Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Roverrs mate of mine said. and I quote: "first time I've seen a proper rumble with the bobbies in the Darwen End for many a year" Quote
gonzo Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 How on earth we can poke fun at other teams attendances is beyond me. Quote
no balls Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 How on earth we can poke fun at other teams attendances is beyond me. I'm just watching our game on BBC2 and see your point, BUT Blackburn fucking hate us (I am told this on a daily basis) so any tiny chance to have a go should be taken. Quote
davidjack Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 It makes our 22k on TV crowd against Liverpool look positively impressive. Quote
jules_darby Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Errm, didn't they beat a Prem team 4-1 to go through to the next round of the cup? I'd take that. Â And as Gonchorelli says we aren't in a position to take the piss out of crowds; let's leave that to insecure clubs elsewhere Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 But that's what rival fans do. Anything to get one over them. Rovers combined home support for their two home cup ties against premiership opposition was approx 15,000. Our home support for one game against Liverpool was approx 17,000 enough said. When you are surrounded by Dingles constantly pretending their a big club then its justified. Quote

Matt Lofthouse Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 BUT Blackburn fucking hate us (I am told this on a daily basis) so any tiny chance to have a go should be taken. Same for me at work. Gives you that warm feeling inside. We have definetly got under their skin in recent years. Quote
davidjack Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Both Derby and Palace had fewer than we had against Liverpool yesterday. Maybe our crowds really aren't that bad...? Quote
COYW Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I think there should be an unwritten rule on here that if your going to criticize our support, you should tell us which teams you're actually comparing us with. I don't think there's much perspective some times. Quote

Morizio Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Nor was it a fucking mid week game. Some people just fucking moan for the sake of it. Quote
